Sparks
Three years ago today our very special cat, Mau(ricio), received his angel wings after a short, undiagnosed illness. All his blood work was normal, and our veterinarian could not find anything really wrong with him. But he had lost weight and was not acting like himself. If you missed or would like to reread the original post about his passing, click on the title, “💖 Until We Meet Again 💖“.
I wanted a Spark about angels, which I totally believe in, as I have met one. I found several that “spoke” to me and plan to eventually share each of them. The one I selected for today is from Anton Chekhov.
I believe those diamonds (stars) in the sky are our loved ones (humans and pets) who have passed. They are there watching over us always.
Mau was a wonderful cat who loved his fursibs, his wife Allie, Dad Tom and me. He was a comedian and cozy companion and remains in our hearts and thoughts. Dad Tom and I speak fondly of him often.
Sparks is the creation of Annie from McGuffy’s Reader. Sparks began as a blog hop, created by our friend. Annie stated when she began Sparks, “I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world.”
Awww Mondays
There’s no doubt that Mau was an awww-adorable cat. So this special angel will be taking part in Sandee’s Awww Mondays blog hop at Comedy Plus. If you would like to participate, click on her badge below.
The Adventures of Periwinkle & Stinky
It’s time again for our fun-loving tabbies, Periwinkle & Stinky, to take-off on another adventure. You can catch up with them tomorrow over at Friends Furever. It is Periwinkle’s turn to select what they are going to do. Whatever it is, you know the two have more fun when you join them. So, they’ll be looking for you tomorrow.
Thanks for joining us today.
I am so sorry. We sure loved him at Scouts. Hugs.

Mau was such a special and beloved friend to so many. We will never forget him. Hugs and purrs to you as you remember your beloved mancat.
Mau was ever so special…and he will always and forever be remembered and cherished.
Hugs as you remember that dear Angel Mau, today and every single day.
How awful to lose such a loved companion with no idea how it happened. How awful, no matter what. In my younger days, during my time at a place called the Hallelujah House in Tampa, I saw angels lined up along on a wall as I passed (not everyone saw them) and also heard them singing during a service. There were other things, too, I won’t go into. But yes, Angels are real and they are here amongst us. Pee Ess, I never did drugs, in case you’re wondering LOL!
We miss Mau. Sending you many purrs this day.
Sending you lots of purrs, thoughts, and prayers as you remember your sweet Mau today and every day.
Sending you love and hugs on this sad anniversary. Mau was a special boy. XO

Hugs and purrs on this special remembrance day.
Big healing hugs on this day. I so know this pain.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches all around, a smooch to Cooper Murphy and Sawyer and a big hug to mom. ♥
What a beautiful kitty Mau was! Lovely tribute to him. Purrs of comfort from all of us.
Loving, and a dear tribute to him. XX
We loved Mau as if it was our own……and in many ways he was a cat who belonged to everyone because he was part of our hearts. He will always be missed. I like to think that he and Sammy met up at the Bridge to get up to some mischief and patiently wait for their humans to join them one day when we will be reunited with all the people and pets we have loved.
Hugs, Pam
