Caturday Art
I am sharing two versions of art the petcretary made for me from a selfie I took a few weeks ago. I shared one of those photos, and Mom was holding the others back for future Sundays.
As each of those photos is so blurry and grainy, I asked that she select at least one for our art today.
This first version was created by adding a border with piZap and then tweaking it using HDR and Boost in Picasa.
The second version was created using the photo with the same piZap border. Then Mom added the Graphic Sea filter from Dreamscope and a mat and frame with Picasa.
If you like one of these more than the other, let us know in the comments. I can’t decide which one I like best, which is why I decided to share both.
These are our entries in Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty’s Caturday Art Blog Hop. We do love this hop and encourage you to explore your creativity and join. A plethora of free photo editing apps are available, and as you can see, they can be combined in a variety of interesting ways. If you’d like to see some of the other entries and/or add one of your own, click on Athena’s badge.
Sunday Selfies
Tomorrow is another blog hop we look forward to each week—ours. That’s right! It’s time for Sunday Selfies again. We had one of smallest turnouts ever last week. We sure hope y’all aren’t tired of the hop. If so, just let us know. We do continue to get new purrticipants and unusual species joining us. That makes our little kitty hearts soar when that happens. We love making new friends. We thank everyone who continues to support us and join the hop each week. Hope to see lots of old and new friends tomorrow.
Purrs and paw-pats, Lisbeth with oodles of love and kisses for my sweet boyfriend, Cat Scout Charles
I can’t decide which one I like best either…they are both so cool! I guess I’d have to pick the second one though, because I just love the colors and the “sea” look is so unexpected. Very nicely done! Purrs…
Your art is so beautiful!
We love both of them, Lisbeth, but the second one really is lots of fun. 🙂
Big hugs to you and your family!
I like the second one. Somehow it seems “happy” to me, and I think everyone needs a lot of that right now.
I like the both but the second one really caught out eye. Ooops, I see Summer said the same thing.
Wow, Lisbeth these pictures are stunning. The bottom one is more colourful and thusly more eye catching. You are gorgeous girl.
