A Note from Lisbeth
Before getting to the Friendly Fill-Ins for this week, Lisbeth has a few words to say.
I am sorry I scared my mom and dad and boyfriend Charles so badly by going missing on Wednesday for 11 hours. Delivery men who brought and set up Mom and Dad’s new bed frightened me. I didn’t know I was doing something bad. Staying safe from strangers was my priority. Mom says that I am grounded for life, but I am promising to never do anything like this ever again. I hope she and Dad will forgive me and continue to allow me to attend Cat Scout events with Charles.
I also want too apologize to all our friends and readers for scaring them as well. Mom and Dad and I appreciate all the prayers for my safe return home. Mom says that the pet blogging community is like a huge, loving family, and we appreciate having each of you in our lives.
With sincere apologies, Lisbeth
Friendly Fill-Ins: Week #94
The kitties are helping me with the fill-ins this week by completing numbers 1 and 2. We all have used teal italics for our completions.
Kitties Blue: 1. My Our favorite president is President Abraham Lincoln because he was the first president known to have cats in the White House. Mary Todd Lincoln claimed that cats were her husband’s hobby.
Mau & Cooper Murphy: 2. This weekend,
I we have plans to go to Egypt with Cat Scouts. This will be great. Cats were revered in ancient Egypt just as they should be today!
3. I 💗 my Kitties Blue past and present. If you have never met all the previous Kitties Blue, click on The Felines tab at the top of the page.
Friendly Fill-Ins is a blog hop hosted by Ellen (15 And Meowing) and Annie (McGuffy’s Reader). To take part in then hop, click on their badge. You will be whisked away to Annie’s blog.

I am so very relieved this ended well. Things have been stressful enough. I will never get caught up. I am trying to work on my writing, too. I have a project going. HUGS.
We don’t even want to think about if Lisbeth had gotten into the dark regions of that delivery truck. Hooray she didn’t and got home safe;y. She looks so sweet behind that box,MOL!
Lisbeth, being a cat means never having to say you’re sorry.
We are so glad you are safe at home. We just saw the post in our email about you being missing as the Mom has been sick and hasn’t been on the computer. When we realized what day it was posted we decided to look and see if there was some good news and to our relief there was so we forgive you, but then we were only scared for like 10 minutes. It may take longer for your Mom & Dad to forgive you.
Lisbeth, we understand how you got scared and it’s kinda hard to go under the bed when the bed isn’t there so we get it. But, we sure hope nothing like that ever happens again! We enjoyed the answers to the fill ins too!
I am glad you came home safe and sound, Lisbeth.
Memories of Eric and Flynn
SO glad you are home safe, Lisbeth ! My indoor boy Alexander got scared and was gone for 18 days. You can imagine the reception he got when he came home after all that time.
Purrs.
yay! Lisbeth is back — but she still looks a bit scared of us. Her eyes are so big! 😺
Lizbeth…we’re just glad you’re home safe and sound.
We’re so glad you’re home and safe, Lisbeth. We hope you won’t do it again ! Purrs
That was a sincere apology , but I think you still need to be grounded forever. Everyone loves you and wants you to be safe. I am sure your folks will allow virtual travel like Cat Scouts 🙂 Great answers to the fill-ins, thank you both XO
Lisbeth, that about the same length of time that we lost Chuck, years ago. We are a big community of people who understand each other!
Wow, that was an adventure we hope you never go on again, Lisbeth. We’re happy you are home safe. Good fill-ins this week!
Wow. We did not know that about good old Honest Abe. Cool beans
Me and Einie will be with you Cooper & Mau and hope to have lots of fun in Egypt
We know a lot of the kitties Blue and like to visit and read a little more about each of them
Lisbeth. Love you and soooo glad you are home
Purrs friends
Timmy and Family
Lisbeth, Daisy Mae and I are happy you’re safe and sound. We forgive you and understand why you hid from strangers. Like parents teach their kids when they’re young. Stranger Danger. Stay away from strangers. If you do hide again maybe it should be somewhere where your parents and friends can see you. Glad you are OK.>””<
we are glad you are safe Lisbeth (and yes, strangers can be scary)
We bet your mom and dad have already forgiven you, Lisbeth, and that they’re just so happy to have you home. We know that we’re super happy that you’re home, safe and sound and exactly where you belong! And what purrfect fill-ins. Anyone who likes cats gets kudos in our book, so we are fans of Abraham Lincoln, too. Purrs, and happy Friday to all of you! Have fun in Egypt, Mau and Cooper Murphy!
Oh my, Lisbeth. I’m so happy things turned out well for you. How frightful. I’ve been just this worried and for the same reason. I love a happy ending.
Have a purrfect day. My best to your peeps. ♥
Dear Lisbeth, we are soooo glad you are home and safe. We forgive you but PLEASE don’t try anything like that again.
We’re looking forward to Egypt this weekend. Allie can’t wait to spend some time with her sweet Mauricio.
The Florida Furkids with tons of smoochies and love to Mau from Allie
Oh Lisbeth, we forgive you too, you had us worried so please don’t try that again!
Oh, Lisbeth, of course you’re forgiven — just please don’t do that again! Your picture is just so adorable! I didn’t know that about Abe Lincoln! No wonder he’s so popular! 😀 <3
Dear Lizbeth, I hadn’t known until now that you had stepped out of your home. That is a parents worst nightmare. My mom had nightmares that happened to the Admiral. She was helpless in the dream and couldn’t even find her glasses to see her in the woods that Admiral escaped to in Mom’s terrible dream.
Thank goodness you are safe and sound. Your poor mom and dad were sick with worry I know. Did you just come walking into the house when you returned?
XXXOOO
Lisbeth, I’m so happy that you’re home safe and sound! I can understand you being scared of the delivery man though. Lincoln was a great president–he’s one of my favorites too. Have fun in Egypt, boys! 🙂
Lisbeth we’re just all very happy you are safe back home……adventures are fun but you can have them AT HOME from now on! Angel Sammy and I are excited about the Scouts trip to Egypt this weekend too…..I wanna learn how to “walk like an Egyptian” like Steve Martin did! HAHAHA
Love, Teddy
You are forgiven, Lisbeth, we’re glad you’re home safe and sound 🙂 Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend 🙂 <3
Lisbeth, I am just glad you are home, and I’m sure you won’t do that again.
A few purrs … a well-placed rub here or there … you’ll be quickly forgiven, Lisbeth. By the time I was two, I was grounded for the rest of my nine lives – but I haven’t had so much as even a crimp in my feline activities 🙂 ~Bear Cat
Don’t worry, Lisbeth, I’ve been grounded for the rest of my nine lives for pretty much my entire life … and I haven’t had even one crimp in my feline activities! A few purrs and being your cute self – you’ll be quickly forgiven! ~Bear Cat
Thank cod you are safe. Strangers are scary; you just had to do what you need to do.
Oh! So, where were you, Lisbeth? We were worrying and praying. Please never do that again!
My niece went to Egypt, several years ago. She visited the Temple of Bastet. While there, she bought me a statue of Bastet. I love it!
Hugs!
So glad you’re ok Lisbeth!
