LILY OLIVIA IS PRETTY IN PINK REDUX

Caturday Art

Though it continues to be unseasonably warm here in Virginia, and we still have some summer flowers blooming, most of the plants are going into a dormant phase or dying. When that happens, a final burst of color greets us. Mom’s camellia bush begins to bloom. It always cheers her up to see those pretty pink flowers, and so she wanted to share it with you for today’s Caturday Art post.

But as we are a cat blog, I insisted on being part of the art. I allowed Mom to use a really fuzzy selfie—where I cut off my ears—as the background for the center photo. She used a photo of the entire bush on top of my pix and then added a weave texture. She did it all using PicMonkey. I sure hope you like it.

caturdayartbannerThis is our entry in Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty’s furtabulous Caturday Art blog hop. It is one of our very favorite hops. If you haven’t joined it, what are you waiting for? It’s super fun as you get to explore your creative side. To join and/or see the other submissions, click on Athena’s badge.

I was pretty in pink once before for Caturday Art, as you might have guessed from our title. If you’d like to see that post, you can do so here.

One of us already has our selfie ready for tomorrow. Have you taken yours yet? We have an itty bitty tortie ready to share her cuteness with you. We had a great turnout last week. All the Kitties Blue and our mom really appreciate your support.

Purrs and paw-pats, Lily Olivia
