Sparks
I know that life is worth living. With the pandemic and Mau’s passing, however, I have felt sad and defeated. This Spark spoke to me as a reminder that I do believe this.
William James, the author of today’s Spark, was an American philosopher and psychologist, and the first educator to offer a psychology course in the United States. He is thought to be a leading thinker of the late nineteenth century and one of the most influential philosophers. James is considered to be the “Father of American psychology.” Along with Charles Sanders Peirce, he established the philosophical school known as pragmatism and is cited as one of the founders of functional psychology.
Sparks began as a blog hop, created by our friend, Annie (McGuffy’s Reader). Annie is taking a “break” from blogging, so there is no hop. Many of us continue to believe in Annie’s vision: “I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world!”

Life would be extra special if I could pet that tummy!
Great spark and adorable photo. XO
Yes, it’s tough sometimes, we understand, but that wonderful Spark is a terrific instruction manual.
Life is indeed worth living. Cooper Murphy is spot on about that. I love you Cooper Murphy.
I’ll be here tomorrow for Periwinkle and Stinky’s next adventure.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches to all the kitties and a big hug to the mom. ♥
Hugs and purrs to you; it’s so hard to lose our loved ones in any environment.
It’s hard to stay positive when so many sad things happen. But this Spark is a good reminder for us.
That’s a good Spark and a good reminder. We’ve been down in the dumps since Mau’s passing too. (((hugs)))

This journey we call life has a lot of downs as well as ups……if we can just kind of stay in the middle we will make it ! Life is totally worth living – it’s a gift. It is sometimes tough to be upbeat about things we face in our lives but here we are….we’ve conquered much in our time and there are more mountains to climb. The reward is knowing that we MADE IT. Love this SPARK -it’s perfect!
Hugs, Pam and Teddy
Yes, life is worth the living, though sometimes there are hard and terrible bumps to go over or through.
Never giving up helps to see you through.
And friends…surrounding yourself with friends makes all the journey better.
Life is definitely worth living. Cooper Murphy is totally right. But it is really hard to keep going sometimes too. 100% mom says so. But we all love you and you are great and we all know Mau is walking with you in spirit!
