Independence Day
All the Kitties Blue are here today to celebrate Independence Day. They, Dad Tom and I wish everyone a safe and happy Fourth of July. We’ll be staying at home and the Kitties Dad and I will watch our city’s fireworks from our upper deck. The kitties, of course, will remain inside.
Thankful Thursday
Though it may seem we have little for which to be thankful, that is never true. Obviously, this week we are thankful that Sawyer was not injured during his latest seizure as well as the fact it subsided on its own.
We are even more grateful for the love, support, prayers, purrs and POTP that all those who visited so generously offered. I have said it before, but pet bloggers and those who follow animal blogs are the most compassionate and caring people. We are truly blessed to be part of this community.
Personally, I am thankful that yesterday I completed my 650th ride during my 105-week streak of riding the Peloton. I got two shout outs from instructor Robin. If anyone else out there is a Peloton rider, I am KittiesBlueMom on the Leader Board.
I also am grateful for everyone understanding my lack of visiting and commenting on your blogs. I promise to try to do better.
Finally, Dad Tom and I are thankful for continued progress on the addition. Though it won’t quite be complete, we will finally have the furniture we ordered one year ago delivered the week after next. I am optimistic that it will be finished by the end of the month.
Thankful Thursday is a blog hop hosted by Brian. To participate, post on your blog for what you are thankful and then click on the badge above.
Thoroughly Poetic Thursday
Due to this being a holiday as well as the rather dark nature of today’s inspiration photo, I am opting to postpone our poem until tomorrow. It will be part of our Friendly Fill-Ins and Feline Friday post.
Enjoy the holiday!
I am so very happy that Sawyer is doin’ betters! You are so right abouts the pet bloggers, they are the bestest! We used to be able to watch fireworks from on top of our patio cover, butts they don’t do them anymore at our local park. 🙁 It was fun while it lasted, butts now we have asshats that set off boomers all night long! sigh. I don’t mind most of them, butts the big boomers make me bark! and disrupt my snoozin’! rude.
I hopes you have a most FABulous fourth!
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
Happy Fourth to every body. Hope you got a bite of ribs. Did your folks bbq?

We’re thankful for your friendship and for the possible finishing of the addition! We’re very thankful that Sawyer didn’t get hurt in his fall.

You do have a lot to be thankful for even though there have been some sad times along the way. The addition will be wonderful – and you have forever friends pulling for Sawyer too. Happy July 4th!
Hugs, Teddy
