When C.J. took her selfies for last Sunday’s post, some of them were so blurry I knew they wouldn’t work for anything other than Caturday Art.
After I completed this week’s art project, I realized that whenever I use Calista Jo for Caturday Art, I use the same color palette. The purples and aquas are my favorite colors, and they seem to work nicely with her dilute tortie furs. Even though she looks terrific in these colors, I promise to have something different to share the next time C.J. is featured as Caturday Art.
I started working on this last weekend in PicMonkey and really don’t remember what I did. I added some borders using piZap. After that I tinkered with it slightly in Picasa and finally added a frame from PhotoFaceFun.
Our giveaway for Allia Zobel Nolan’s book, Women Who Still Love Cats Too Much, ended yesterday a 5 p.m. Two winners were selected using Random.org. They are Ellen from 15 And Meowing and Kevin (meowmeowmans) from Animal Shelter Volunteer Life. We extend our congratulations to them and thank all of those who left comments.
Our Current Giveaway
This limited edition Santa’s Rocking Stocking Catnip Joints from Stark Raving Cat is designed for hanging on the Christmas tree or mantle. A red-and-white pair of catnip joints (topped with tiny Santa hats) peeks out from a traditional red stocking. From the ribbon on the front hangs a silver-tone cat-and-mouse charm. It’s perfect to add to your cat’s collar, a key chain or a necklace to wear as a pendant.
Kitties Blue loved the nippy goodness emanating from the stocking and joints. You can read their review here and leave a comment for a chance to win a Santa’s Rocking Stocking Catnip Joints.
Sunday Selfies Blog Hop Tomorrow
Kitties Blue have all put their paws down and said none of them are taking a selfie for tomorrow. They have coerced a guest to host the hop tomorrow. They also have refused to tell me who it will be. I guess I’ll find out along with all of you. Hope to see lots of our friends here to join in the fun.
