Sparks/Awww Mondays

With social distancing due to the pandemic, hugs are sorely lacking in our lives. Regardless, we still need them for both our mental health and physical well-being. Thankfully, at our house, we have Kitties Blue to hug and snuggle.

Misty May adores her dad and has taken over Mau’s spot in his lap when Dad Tom is in the kitchen.

I know those of you who follow Dad Tom on Facebook saw this photo already. Misty May and I hope you don’t mind seeing it again.

If you are unfamiliar with the author of today’s quote, Bil Keane was an American cartoonist and creator of the comic strip, “The Family Circus,” in 1960. Since his death in 2011, the strip has been drawn by his son Jeff Keane.

As we have been reminding you for months, Sparks is the creation of Annie from McGuffy’s Reader. Sparks began as a blog hop, created by our friend. Annie stated when she began Sparks,“I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world.”

In addition to being the inspiration for today’s Spark, Misty May is our representative in the Awww Mondays blog hop at Comedy Plus. You can as well by clicking on the badge below.
