25 Days of Holiday Fun
We are pawticipating in this fun holiday blog hop. Each day from December 1 through December 25, a different blog is posting a special holiday post. Today is our designated day. You can find the other pawticipating blogs by going to Dory’s Backyard, clicking on the Hoppity Hops badge in the menu bar and scrolling down until you see the badge below.
We decided to share our version of a traditional Christmas song for this special post. It was written by Cat Scout Mau in 2013. It has been slightly reimagined for this post.

This also is our entry in Angel Sammy’s Thoroughly Poetic Thursday event. The prompt letter for today’s poem is “B,” which is why we featured those broiled birds. Hope a song and birds meet the challenge.
And finally, we are entering Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop. Today we are thankful for all our wonderfully supportive blog friends, who have shown such love and compassion as we continue to grieve the loss of our sweet sisfur, Fiona.
We are grateful as well for all the snail mail and e-mail holiday cards. Thank you, friends.

That a wrap for today. We’ll see you tomorrow for Friendly Fill-Ins.

We love your song and that photo too! Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Great choice for the letter B. That is quite the remake of The 12 Days of Christmas 🙂 I will go check out Dory’s post. XO
Someone mention nip tea? LOVE the stuff, myself. PURRS.
Purrfect! We think this should be the version of the song played on the radio. It would be an instant holiday hit! We are sending you lots of merry and well wishes!
Oh I have loved that song since Scout Mau shared it back in 2013! Broiled birds definitely quality for the “B” poem today and in fact make me HUNGRY! We know how hard it is this time of year (or ANY time) to be grieving but it’s also hard not to find some “happy” among the cards, notes and messages from such caring friends as we all have in the blogosphere…..may you be comforted knowing WE ALL LOVE YOU.
Hugs, Angel Sammy and Mom Pam
Sounds like a yummy holiday to us!
