Caturday Art Blog Hop
Last week I posted this abstract art and asked those who commented to guess which Kitty Blue was represented. Most who replied guessed Astrid. A couple said Lisbeth, and a couple said Mauricio. But none of those guesses was correct. So today’s art is from that same creative session minus the last few steps. I think you will recognize this tortie cat posing with the Sleepypod box. Those who guessed Astrid last week were on the right track, but as you can see, it is Calista Jo. Torties and calicos are great subjects for Caturday Art.
I really liked Calista Jo’s photo at this stage, but thought it would be fun to have a contest and give away a prize. I guess the kitties and I will need to think of another contest so we can give away a surprise.
Anyhoo, that’s our Caturday Art for this week. We are submitting it to Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty’s blog hop. To join in and/or view all the other cool art, click on her badge.
Sunday Selfies Tomorrow
So if today is Caturday, that means it’s time to start thinking about your selfie for our blog hop tomorrow. We haven’t made a decision as to who will be hosting but suspect our selfie will come from one of the many photos we took of ourselves while being tortured on Thursday at the annual Roundup. If you missed that fun post, Eight Best Behaved Kitties Ever, you can view it by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page.
And don’t forget: You don’t have to be a cat to hop. All anipals are welcome to join us.
So that’s it from the House of Blue Cats. Sorry if the kitties haven’t visited many of you this week. They have been super busy as have I. This weekend Mauricio is on a Cat Scout Quest with his Wolverine Patrol, so the kitties may not see many of you today. But we’ll all be back to visiting and catching up by Monday.
Have a great weekend!
Calista Jo, I wouldn’t have said but I would have said Astrid. I think I get those two mixed up. We need a good comparison…maybe a picture to show how silly I’m being. I’m sure there is a huge difference. Anyway I do like Calista Jo in this picture…this is artsy my friends.
