Feline Friday
This is our neighborhood cat. We have no idea where it lives or if it has a family. But as you can see, it looks healthy and well fed. It’s been coming around for a couple of years and causes lots of consternation among Kitties Blue. It especially likes to come up the steps to the catio and stand outside the screen door, which gets Cooper Murphy’s tail in twist. Audrey discovered it at the front door recently, and they had a bit of a stare down. No meoyowling was heard, as it is when Cooper’s protecting his turf.
Audrey is joining the Feline Friday blog hop at messymimi’s meanderings. To participate click on the Feline Friday badge.
Friendly Fill-Ins
Time again to let you know a bit more about Kitties Blue and myself by completing the weekly fill-ins. Friendly Fill-Ins is a blog hop hosted by Ellen (15 And Meowing) and Lorianne (Four-Legged Furballs). On Thursday they each select two sentences to be filled in by hop participants, and you can find those on both blogs. Enter the hop by clicking on the graphic.
I got lots of help with fill-ins again this week. In fact, I only had to complete one of the sentences myself. We all used teal italics for filling in. Explanatory information is in parentheses.
1. Misty May: I am going to sleep on Mom’s pillow again tonight like I do most nights and probably sneeze in her face.
2. Sawyer: The worst thing about my life is having seizures. (I’m thankful that I have no memory of them afterward.)
3. From my experience, living with cats is worth its their weight in gold.
4. Sawyer: Having to take yucky medicine does not work for me.
So that’s it for today. Thanks for joining us. We’ll be back tomorrow with some Caturday Art.
Hey! That cat looks like Merle. Merle is a neigbor cat who was a feral, but now is part of Ms M’s clowder. He lives in the shop with Lindy and he comes and visits me and Kozmo. Jo Jo hisses at him, but me and Kozmo hunt Moles with him. I wonder how he gets to your house….Purrs Marv
Very cute kitty. I bet he wishes he was one of your crew. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers except I am sorry you have seizures Sawyer. I had the same for #3. 🙂 XO
Those were good answers and you do have a good looking neighbor kitty!
Doesn’t your Mom want to let the neighborhood kitty in to play with everyone? (BOL, we’re just kidding.)
We liked your fill ins, too!

He sure is a good looking kitty. Noelle had the same answer for #2!
Our Angel Ellie used to sneeze in Mom’s face all the time.

That visitor would– and its counterparts have caused great GREAT awful horrible terrible anguish here with the resident homeowner, Katie. I’ve had to block vision out of the windows for several years. She is finally better. Not great, but better.
I think that cat is just looking for friends.
Well that’s a handsome cat coming for a regular visit – like the ones we get here but my Mom gives them some kibble when they arrive at our door. I let Mom know they’re there (sometimes at 1AM or WORSE!). He does look healthy – maybe he just has a crush on one of the cute girls in the house there?????????????
Hugs, Teddy
Looks like the kitty wants to make friends.
Oh, that kitty is probably a bit lonesome and knows that there is fun and games at your house! Maybe Cooper Murphy is a bit curious about this sweet kitty….this kitty seems to want company if the steps are mastered.
That neighborhood kitty does look really interested in getting through the door! Just being neighborly perhaps !? Good fill ins!
Looks like stranger kitty has ideas about coming into your den!! He/she knows where its at, I guess, MOL!
It’s MEEEE, Mango! It seems to Mom too that the Kitty at the front door, he has heard of KittiesBlue and wants to see what you CATS are all about!!
