Feline & Friendship Fridays
Cooper Murphy wonders what the heck is up with Mau after he overindulges in the wicked nip! And both boys join the Feline Friday blog hop at Comedy Plus and the Friendship Friday blog hop at Create with Joy.
Friendly Fill-Ins
The kitties and I are joining the Feline Friday blog hop; though, they have left me to my own devices to fill-in. The hop is hosted by Ellen (15 And Meowing) and Lorianne (iFour-Legged Furballs). The sentences to be filled in can be found on both blogs on Thursday. To join the hop, click on the badge.
I have used teal italics for my fill-ins.
1. My plans for the weekend include spreading mulch in some of my flower beds.
2. I don’t like it when our neighbors set off loud fireworks.
3. I’m grateful I have the freedom to select my own doctors.
4. Cats, of course, make a house a home.
Birthday Giveaway Winner
I gave our readers a little puzzle to solve on Sawyer’s birthday. I promised a surprise package to the first commenter to identify a change I made to this page. The first to identify the change (I am wearing a face mask in our logo.) was our first commenter, Joyce Moore. Many others also correctly identified the change. Sawyer asked me to send a prize to each of you, but unfortunately the postage alone would mean he’d have to give up his treats for the next few months. When I told him that, he decided to withdraw his request! So, Joyce, I’ll be sending you an e-mail to get your mailing address. Congratulations.
What a nip-out, Mau!! I hope you let Cooper Murphy have some too.
Your nip looks very healthy. Hopefully no one overindulged and got too fiesty.
Are you supervising Mau to make sure he doesn’t get too nipped out, Cooper Murphy? It looks like it might be a little late for that, though. And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! I completely agree with your #2. Since our local professional fireworks display was canceled this year due to the pandemic, a lot of people are setting off illegal fireworks in their yards. My neighbor did it last night, and I was admittedly not pleased to see them flashing and booming over my house and over all the dry trees in the area. And, of course, we agree 1000% with your answer to #4! Purrs!
Maui you look like you’re having a good time. The question is, did Coop partake of some pawty favors as well?
Happy 4th!
You two are just way too cute!
Mau looks like how I felt the other day! ~Ernie
Mau, I hope you are not turning into a hooligan 🙂 Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I had the same answer for #4. Sorry you ended up in spam on my blog yesterday, everyone did. I think it is fixed now. Have a great 4th! And congrats to Joyce. XO
Nothing worse than a hangover. I’m guessing a nip hangover is just as bad as a booze one. It’s been eons and eons since I had one to many. You take good care of Mau, Cooper Murphy.
Love all your fill-ins and am not surprised about your answers.
Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. Scritches to all the kitties and a hug to the mom. ♥
Nothing like a nip high!!!
The Florida Furkids with smoochies and love to Mau from Allie and paw pats and headbonks to Sawyer from Noelle
That is a great photo.
Well I must admit Mau looks a little “out of it” but Coop I think maybe he’s just feeling RELAXED…..that’s a GOOD thing not a rehab thing!! Let’s hope that all of us do not spend July 4th listening to bang/pop/kaBOOM in our neighborhoods. I hate fireworks and Mom and Dad do too.
Hugs, Teddy
It looks like that is some seriously good nip!
I totally relate to Mau!
