Feline/Friendship Friday
June 4 is Hug Your Cat Day, sometimes referred to as National Hug Your Cat Day. It’s an unofficial holiday offering cat parents/caregivers the purrfect opportunity to express a little extra love to their furry companions.
None of Kitties Blue are particularly fond of hugs, but Dad Tom and I each scored one.
Tom and Cooper Murphy’s hug is a bit more of a hold, but that’s what happens when your cat weighs in at 19+ pounds.
I got my hug from Calista Jo, which was a bit more traditional; though, I had to keep a firm hold on her.
Cooper and Calista are joining both the Comedy Plus Feline Friday and the Create With Joy Friendship Friday blog hops. If you’d like to do the same, click on the appropriate badge(s).
Friendly Fill-Ins: Week #262
Friday again, which means it is time for those fill-ins hosted by Ellen from 15 And Meowing and Lorianne from Four-Legged Furballs. Sawyer stepped up again to help me with fill-ins this week. Both my fill-ins and his are in teal italics.
1. Our former President creeps me out.
2. I could use a refresher class in time management.
3. Sawyer: Life would be much simpler if I didn’t have seizures.
4. I would like to go on a vacation, but first I have to find someone to care for Sawyer 24/7.
Friendly Fill-ins is a blog hop. You can find the sentences to be filled in on Ellen and Lorianne’s blogs on Thursdays. Click on their badge to join the hop.
We’ll be back again tomorrow for Caturday Art.
We LOVE the Hug Photos! THey are purrfect for Hug Your Cat Day!! And we love you you Mom’s fill-ins too!

Such sweet hug photos. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I am sorry you have seizures Sawyer. XO
I can identify with your #1 fill-in. *shudder*
It’s also donut day. I have neither donuts to eat nor cats to hug.
Cooper and Calista Jo are extremely good for not caring for hugs. Shoko and Tyebe don’t like hugs either. Shoko will just try and get down and Tyebe slips through ones hands. She only likes Snaps paw hugs.
Jean
Sawyer we wish the same for you dear friend. Hugs are fun but ONLY when we allow them. Pick ups are off the menu here too. Sheesh
guyz….total lee awesum hugz fotoz two day 🙂 !!
Aw what great shots. I’ve never had a kitty that liked hugs.
Love your fill-ins. The current white house occupant creeps me out.
I wish I could wave a wand and Sawyers seizures would be a thing of the past.
Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. Scritches all around and a hug to mom. ♥
Those are sure some happy hugs. Good answers too. All politicians creep me out!
You are right; sometimes a hug is more like a wrestling hold!
If I were nearby, I’d take care of Cooper Murphy and the rest of the gang for you.
In fact, The Hubby and I would double-team them!
You aren’t in Michigan, are you?
Noelle is not fond of being held so she’s not a hugger. Raz likes hugs! We love your hugging photos.
Sawyer, we totally agree with your Fill-in.

I’m with you on #1…..as well as #3. Vacation is four months away for us and I can’t wait…..Teddy will be back with the “sisters” at kitty camp but if he were like Sawyer, I think we’d board him with the vet for safety. GOOD FOR YOU getting hugs from Coop and CJ. We had to do FLASHBACKS for our unhuggable ginger!
Love, Pam
Flynn was our hugger. He loved it.
I guess I will have to hug my pups instead! LOL!
I do have a few pics of me hugging Pipo & MInko….
I’m actually not that much of a fan of hugs! Funny, I know, for a therapy cat!
