HAPPY 7TH BIRTHDAY CALISTA JO

Thankful Birthday Thursday

When C.J. joined Kitties Blue, we had just begun blogging less than three months earlier. She was the baby of the family and loved that designation and attention. She’s always been good natured, and she didn’t mind when Cooper Murphy took over the position as the new kid. However, that same “C’est la vie” attitude went out with the used litter when Sawyer joined the family. He likes to chase her and play, but she’ll have none of his foolishness. A hissy fit always ensues. Regardless, she still remains a sweet cat, who sleeps next to me or at my feet every night without fail. And she almost always helps write our posts while tucked up under my right arm.

So today, we celebrate Calista Jo and as it is Thankful Thursday, Kitties Blue, Dad Tom and I give thanks for her presence in our lives.

All of us created a card for her, and Mau baked a special cake in his Cat Scouts Bake Shop.

It seems as if C.J. might have started celebrating a bit early, but who can blame her. We believe birthdays should last at least all week.

Thoroughly Poetic Thursday

Kitties Blue and I would like to apologize to Teddy and Mom Pam (Two Spoiled Cats) for not joining today’s poetry challenge. We will include it tomorrow on our Feline Friday and Friendly Fill-Ins post. Please do visit them by clicking on the link above. You won’t want to miss what is surely a terrific poem penned by Angel Sammy and transmitted from the Rainbow Bridge.

Thanks for joining us for C.J.’s birthday celebration.
