Sunday Selfies: Week #266
When I asked for a volunteer to be your host today, anyone standing in the way would have been trampled as all the gang, but one, exited the room. Unfortunately the one kitty remaining was not interested in taking a selfie. She remained only because she knew she would have all my attention.
I attempted to cajole her into sitting quietly and taking a selfie, but she was having none of it. She only wanted to mark the iPad with her cheeks and make a batch of biscuits in my lap.
I finally got her to snap her selfie. Before I could even check it, she took off, leaving me with this blurry, half of a selfie to post.
As the old saying goes, “Beggers can’t be choosers!” It does appear, however, that we can be losers. And it this case, we lost half of Astrid’s face.

Astrid, you were probably just going for an abstract selfie. You’re gorgeous no matter what! Purrs to all of you!
Oh Astrid, it’s more of an art piece than a selfie!
Hey, I gets it…..sometimes the peeps can gets kerazy with the flashy beast! I still thinks it’s a FABulous selfie!! Half your purty face is a SCORE in my book!
Astrid, I think that is just the purrfect selfie. you did a most excellent job–the Human think they’ve a right to be soooooooo picky. It is to laugh! given how very, very, VERY far they are from perfect themselves. I mean, your Mom doesn’t even know how to relax very good! Honestly, just send her over here for a day, I’ll learn her real fast.
Kissies to my Miss Misty May XOXOXO
We love your action selfie. Our mom loves torties so any view of them is a good one.
A half selfie is better than none. XO
It’s still adorable! Mudpie loves “marking” the iPad too by rubbing against it.
Love your selfie. Joined blog hop.
Around here those kinds of selfies are quite common, MOL! We almost had one just like yours but then Pipo relented and gave a half decent one:)
Have a great week! Thanks for always hosting the Sunday Selfies each week!
I think it is a very nice selfie, so natural !!
Happy Sunday guys! XOX
It’s okay to be a little blurry on Sunday…
Have a wonderful day!
Noodle and crew
Astrid you are pretty by half
We think Astrid choose to do a mysterious arty selfie. Excellent job Astrid.
It must be something with Torties, I have more blurry pictures of Leila than anyone else. Miss Astrid, you are beautiful, even if we only see half of that sweet face.
Oh the joys of taking pet photos!
Still a lovely selfie of a lovely kitty 🙂
It’s nice to see part of you, Astrid. 🙂 We don’t know why you guys don’t like to take selfies. You’re all so cute!
Even blurry you are adorable!
That’s pretty darn cute sweet Astrid!
We’ll take half a selfie of sweet Astrid!!
The Florida Furkids with smoochies and love to Mau from Allie and paw pats and headbonks to Sawyer from Noelle
Meowser Astrid dear furiend. That is a purrty good selfie…. much better than anything Katsu does, which is one reason why I didn’t even look for him very hard this week… I think he copies Saphera, who, like the rest of your gang, runs from the camera.
Thank you for hosting today’s blog hop,
Well, I guess a blurry half selfie is better than no selfie?
Half a blurry selfie is better than no selfie!
We adore Halfies, especially with you in it, Astrid💗Pawkisses for a Full Happy Sunday to all of you🐾😽💞
Miss Astrid half of you is better than nothing.
Astrid, you may have been channeling Binga here because that is how most of her selfie attempts turned out!
Half a face – even a blurry one, is better than none, especially as she is so lovely.
Well, we may have lost half of Astrid’s face, but seeing her is always a win, of you ask us. 🙂
Thank you for hosting, sweet pals! XO
