Sparks
As I have done in the past, I am sharing an inspirational quote sent to me by my friend in California. She always seems to sense what I need and sends something appropriate. I hope it resonates with you as it did with me.
Sparks began as a blog hop, created by our friend, Annie (McGuffy’s Reader). Annie has been taking a “break” from blogging, so there is no hop. Unfortunately, during this break, Annie has been the victim of a hacker. This has continued to keep her off-line and caused her much distress. Please continue to send prayers to Annie and her family as they work to get their lives back to normal.
Many of us believe in Annie’s vision: “If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world!”
Awww Mondays
In spite of Mau’s claim yesterday that tuxie cats are the handsomest, everyone’s favorite ginger cat, Cooper Murphy, is back today for the Awww Mondays blog hop at Comedy Plus.
No matter how much you might like to snorgle this boy’s chest, I advise against it, unless you want to be nipped. As Dad Tom always says, “It’s a trap!”
If you’d like to join Coop on the hop, click on the badge below.
Autumn
Today is the first day of my favorite season. Unfortunately summer won‘t give up its grip on us. Yesterday was 90 degrees, and today is supposed to be 88 degrees. We have had the most ridiculously hot summer, and I want it to be over. I want to drink hot chocolate, snuggle with kitties and need to put on a hoodie.
Wherever you reside, Kitties Blue and I wish you a good week.
Cooper Murphy, that is one convincing and tempting trap you have set.
We sure hope it cools off for you soon, sweet pals!
Nothing beats a Monday with inspirational words and a ginger cat. Cooper Murphy, you are adorable! I also can’t wait for summer to actually finally end. It’s been near 90°F around here lately as well, and I’m beyond ready for cool, crisp weather, cozy clothes, and hot beverages. Purrs!
I’d totally fall for that belly! The quote is so true. For too long I worried about what others had and then one day I realized all of my blessings and it changed my entire outlook. Finally, I was happy! And I didn’t need any of those things other people have to feel that way.
Aw, Cooper Murphy. It would be hard not to snorgle your tummy…even if it meant getting nipped.
That is a really wonderful Spark and a super cute Cooper Murphy!
I don’t care if it’s a trap; I’ll try to get into there anyhow!
That’s a beautiful quote. Purrs

What a great spark! Cooper Murphy, that is just the cutest pose today – Awww-worthy!
Awww, there’s my Cooper Murphy. I will not mess with anything that you don’t like. I don’t want to get nipped by my favorite kitty.
Love your Spark. I love Annie too and I miss her. She did send me a hug the other day and that made me smile.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week, Cooper Murphy. My best to your siblings (especially Sawyer) and your peeps. ♥
Great Spark! Mom would be tempted to fall for that trap!!
The Florida Furkids with smoochies and love to Mau from Allie and paw pats and Headbonks to Sawyer from Noelle
Lovely quote and Mom says it’s VERY TRUE. As for Coop – we all know the dangers of falling for the “ginger tummy” trap. It’s a well known one around here too. One touch and the trap closes on your hand/wrist and that’s that!
Happy Monday………Teddy
A lovely Spark.
I would fall into that trap, Cooper Murphy. Both my boys loved to be snorgled.
That is a wonderful and true to life quote. Something we all need to keep in mind:)
Cooper Murphy, you are a trap?? Yikes! At least you are a cute but handsome one:)
Summer definitely feels like it is dying here. We were in the lower 70s today but very rainy. Yuck. I prefer summer though it is nicer to work in the yard in these temps.
