Sunday Selfies: Week #93
My sweet sisfur asked me to host Sunday Selfies today. I could not turn her down. She is my very best friend, and I love her so much.
When our mom adopted me, she had only planned on adding one new kitty to the family. But she took one look at Fiona’s forlorn face, and she knew the two of us should stay together. We are and always have been inseparable. It worries me very much that she is sick. I know how lost and alone I will feel without her. But I cannot worry about that. I know Mom and Dad and Dr. Neel are doing everything for her they can.
You may have noticed that spot on my right eye. If you are new to following us, you can read about it here. It is called an iris melanosis or eye freckle. Our parents have to watch it very carefully for any changes.
Now it is time for you to share your selfies with us. We had some new hoppers last week, and more and more woofies seem to be joining us. That really makes us happy. We all like woofies at out house.
The link for the hop is below as is the code to add the blog hop to your Sunday Selfies post. Mom asked me to remind everyone to display our badge and/or link to The Cat on My Head if you include the hop entries.
Remembering Another Friend
It breaks our hearts that yet another friend has left us. Frankie from Toby’s Wrecking Crew (formerly Doggie Caperz) became an angel on Thursday after a short illness. Frankie was one of five kittens (the only tuxie in a litter of black kitties) and their mom found on the front porch in 2002. His kitty mom, Ali, and all the kittens were adopted by Sabina Ayne’s mom and sister. Today, only one brofur, Moose, remains. Moose and his family could really use some kind words and sympathy. Please drop by if you haven’t already.
Dress Up for Whitley Day
Tomorrow we will pawticipate in this special day to remember Whitley, the gorgeous and always stylishly dressed Westie. If you know us at all, you know we DON’T wear clothes or costumes as a rule. A few of us, however, have been lured into doing this in the past. Mom has agreed that none of us have to actually dress-up tomorrow. She’s going to put a collage together of photos from these past occasions. Hope lots of you will join in the celebration of Angel Whitley’s life.
That’s it from me. I’d like to thank y’all for hopping.
Purrs and paw-pats, Giulietta, Her Royal Floofiness
What a love! I am hoping things settle down soon. Between Chloe Jo and myself…seeking some solutions. HUGS.
Lovely, simply lovely!
We think we might be getting dressed for Whitley’s honor too.
We heard about Frankie and thought this was the saddest news for days. RIP sweet guy!

We are so happy your mom kept you and your sisfur together so that we can see your beautiful face!
You look just beautiful, eye freckle and all. My Maggie has a few, too. I try to take a closeup shot of her face at least once a month so I can keep tabs on whether it’s growing or not. I don’t trust my memory.
We’ll be purring for Moose and Frankie.
Your Mom was so awesome to keep you two girls together. Don’t you look beautiful!
We are so sorry for the loss of your friend Frankie. We didn’t have the pleasure of knowing him but we know his brother Moose and the whole family must be so sad. 🙁
Dearest sisfur you look absolutely stunning as always in your selfie. Mum and I have our paws crossed that Fiona stays comfortable and healthy. We are always thinking of you all but Fiona has extra special purrs from us at the moment. We are very sad to hear of Frankie’s passing. Sadly it’s a busy time for the rainbow bridge at the moment, it must be lots of fun the other side with so many pawesome newcomers. Big purrs and hugs xoxo
What a beautiful girl you are Giulietta, and thanks for the shout out reminding everyone to join up to celebrate Whitley’s life!
Smileys!

Giulietta, you are so beautiful! We are happy that your Mama was kind enough to adopt you both and to not separate you from Fiona. We continue to have Fiona on our minds and in our prayers. We know how hard it is on everyone when someone is unwell 🙁
Sending lots of love to your Mama from ours. Our Mama promises to send yours an email this week. Lots has been happening here! Ugh.
the critters in the cottage xo
What a lovely selfie Giulietta and what a beautiful name. I love that you and Fiona are so close. My human Uncle had two sister kitties, Ursula and Gudrin for 18 years.
Hugs madi your bfff
Guilette you are so stunning in your selfie today! Mom understands your Mom adopting both you and Fiona together. Our Mom wishes she could have adopted my kitten who was already gone before she saw me. She thinks I was depressed my baby was taken away from me, and even now I am the only cat who ‘mothers’ the senior catizens in our house.
We were sadden by Frankie’s loss, it is so hard to lose a family member.
We all hope you have a great day hosting today!
We’re so glad you shared this selfie with us, Giulietta! We always love seeing your pretty face. And, we purr and prayer for your sister, and all of you, every day!
Beautiful selfie! We are purring and purraying for Fiona.
Guiletta, you are absolutely beautiful. We are sending lots of purrs for Fiona, and Mommy will send her Reiki again. Hugs to your mom! She hopes to see her again at BlogPaws this year.
Giuletta, you are gorgeous. I didn’t realize you and Fiona were adopted together. When I went to adopt Sammy, he was in with his sister Megan. I couldn’t leave her behind, but I changed her name to Joanie. Very sad about Frankie, he wasn’t even that old. We are dressing up for Whitley this week.
Your selfie is absolutely wonderful! Give that Sis a nice big head bonk from all of us.
What a beautiful selfie, Giulietta!
We’re happy you were adopted together. We know Fiona is comforted by the fact that you are there with her.
Allie says she hopes Mau is dressed up for Whitley tomorrow!!! She hopes he likes what she is wearing.

Thank you for mentioning our beloved Frankie. We miss him so much already. We’ll be posting our selfies shortly!
We are here! We missed a whole week, I can’t believe it, but we are BACK with a follow up on our story of meeting an outside cat on a harness!
That’s a beautiful selfie, as long as the spot in your eye doesn’t get bigger it even looks charming !
I didn’t know about those eye freckles – one of the cats before any of us came here had one.
Such a beautiful selfie!

Beautiful photo…….and I think it’s wonderful that you and Fiona were adopted together – you’re tremendous company for her now that she’s going through so much. We were sad about Frankie too….AND will be pawticipting in the event for Whitley as well. Again, we’re going through a period of great loss in the blogosphere……..

Stunning selfie, Giulietta!
We didn’t realize you were adopted with Fiona. We’re purring for her.

Love between kitties is just as strong as between people! We purr daily for your sisfur to remain in stable health…we kitties are sensitive and can tell when things aren’t right, even without a vet.
Gorgeous selfie, Giulietta!
Giulietta, that is a super selfie of you. So regal and beautiful. 🙂
We are so glad that Mom and Dad adopted you and Fiona together. It sounds like you are bonded littermates, just like our Gracie and Zoe.
We are sad to hear about Frankie’s passing, and are purring and praying for Moose and his family.
Hugs to you all, and thank you for hosting!
