Sunday Selfies: Week #115

I didn’t volunteer to do the selfie today, but my Dad found me in a place where I couldn’t easily extract myself and get away. I actually snapped four really good photos. In fact this is my best selfie ever! Mom has filed the other three for use on future Sundays.

With Halloween just around the corner, I could have made this ghoulish and scary as my fur sibs have been doing lately, but I didn’t want to mess with purrfection. So I got Mom to add a frilly frame befitting my purrsonality and gorgeous floofy furs.

Giulietta's Sunday Selfie

You cannot tell that I am peeking my head out of the bottom cubby on one of our small perches. I barely fit inside, so the pawrents know when I’m there as my tail or a paw is always sticking out.

I have been keeping to myself a lot lately, often stuffing myself in a cube or cubby where I know I will be left alone. If you know me well, you know that Fiona and I have always been inseparable. Mom thinks I am already in mourning as I sense Fiona won’t be with us a lot longer. Mom thinks I have been avoiding her in an attempt to not miss her so much when she’s no longer with us.

Of course, as a cat, I am not talking. In my defense, Fiona is usually curled up in one of our human’s laps, and trust me, there’s not room for the two of us.

And, I’ll tell you a little secret: That harness Mom ordered for me so I can begin exercising has arrived. If I stay stuffed away in a cube, she can’t put it on me. When you see it, you’ll know why I do NOT want to wear the dang thing. Mom may as well stick a note on my butt that says, “wide load.”

So that’s my selfie for today. I can’t wait to see who shows up in addition to our kitty and woofie friends. One or more exotic critters usually join us.

Cat4-001Mom says our purrticipation was quite low last week. That always makes of hearts hurt. If you’ve stopped joining us on Sundays, was it because of something we did? If so, purrlease leave us a comment and let us know.

We enjoy making new friends, so if you know any anipals you think might enjoy our hop, purrlease invite them to join us. The link to add your selfie to the hop is below as is the code to add the hop to your post if you’d like. Purrlease link back to The Cat on My Head and/or display our badge if you do this. Thank you.

Have an easy Sunday, dear friends.

Purrs and paw-pats, Giulietta

p.s. Lily Olivia asked me to tell you about the secret image in her art yesterday as some said they couldn’t find it. Superimposed atop Lily’s photo is a silhouette of a black cat. It’s head is facing left and is just above Lily’s head..
