Friendly Fill-Ins: Week #71
- I have broken a few bones: left tibia and fibula, collar bone and the transverse process of a lumbar vertebrae.
- When I go out to breakfast, I order bacon. What I decide to have with it depends on my mood and what is on the menu.
As Summer officially comes to an end, I will be going to California to attend my 50th high school reunion. Yes, I am older than dirt!
- Before this year is over, I really need to lose several pounds. Wish I could have lost them before the reunion.
A Sad Good-bye: Remembering & Honoring a Friend
It is with great sadness that we said good-bye to Allie and Raz’s dad today. We send our love, prayers and sympathy to them and their mom, Sharon. As we have done with our anipal friends who have passed, we will honor Dad Bill and dedicate our Sunday Selfies blog hop to him. Please join us then and visit Friends Furever to leave your condolences.
Mom says you’re not older that dirt. You’re a valuable antique!😃
Yep, we’re the same age. I went to my 20-year reunion and said never again. When the 50 rolled around this summer, I debated. My high school was huge. But even though it’s probably the last reunion, I didn’t go and don’t feel like I missed anything. Older than dirt? Nah, we’re still a couple of spring chickens! HA! (Talk to me later when I’m awake). Great pic! So very sorry to hear about your friend’s passing.
We too were very sad to hear that Mr Bill has gone to be with the Angels.
We uphold them in our hearts and prayers.
You sure have broken a lot of bones, Ouch!
Its been *only* 44 years since I graduated highschool…Hmmm…
And it sure is way easier to add poundage then remove them, MOL!
I have never been to a high school reunion. But then I rarely showed up at the high school
back in the day so I guess I’m not missing anything.
Oh, my…I read and forgot to comment. I’m baaackk! Oh, my…broken bones. Yikes. *ow* Bacon is good! I like it on a Club, for lunch!
Eh. Not older than dirt. Not even close. You have a way to go, yet. Have fun! You are lookin’ just as good, too! HUGS. Love you lots. Email this week.
Those are great fill-ins this week! Our Mom orders bacon, too, and then, whatever her mood tells her to order as long as it’s French toast. MOL!
We, my Mommy and I, Marvelous, are so very sad to hear about Ms Allie and Mr Raz’s pawpy Bill! He has been fighting so furry hard. We know that Ellie, Cubby and Clifford as well as all the other before animals were there to greet him.
My Mommy purrticualrly loved your comments to the friday Fill-ins…My Mommy is also older than dirt.
Purrs
Marvelous
PS. Mommy here, I will be blogging about the bite soon. The bone scan shows the infection is in the bone. I feel OK, but the road back is slower than anticipated
We are sad to hear the news about Raz and Allie’s dad. We send lots of comforting purrs and hugs to them…and their mom…we know this is a difficult time for them.
Have fun at your HS reunion. They can be a lot of fun.
I also finished school 50 years ago this year. How time flies!
I am very sad for Sharon and send my love to her.
50th high school reunion? Are you sure? Did you graduate when you were 2? Our mommy doesn’t like bacon. Can you believe that? That means we’ve never had bacon either which is just poopy!
Our hearts are with Sharon and the Furkids. 🙁
I usually get funny looks for admitting this, but I have never been a fan of bacon. Someone even once told me that that makes me “un-American”. I hope you have a lot of fun at your reunion! And what a lovely school photo you shared.
We have been keeping Sharon, Allie, Raz, and their dad Bill in our thoughts and prayers. We are praying that they can find peace at this difficult time.
Bacon sounds good to me! We are all so bery sad about Daddy Bill.
Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, nice answers. We are going to try the South Beach Diet to lose some weight, I need to get rid of my carb addiction. In p hotos I have seen of you, you look great and it doesn’t look like you have been out of school for 50 years. I love your high school photo, so pretty.
I feel so bad for Sharon and the kitties, so sad. XO
I just received notice of my 40th high school reunion, and that just ain’t right! Didn’t we graduate just a couple/three years ago? Sheesh…
I’ve visited Friends Furever and left a note.
50th high school reunion ? Time flies ! Purrs
We are very sad for our friends Sharon, Allie and Raz.
OH my goodness, you look beautiful. And you still do from the pictures you have shared with us.
It was sad reading that Dad Bill had passed yesterday. Mom and I send our condolences and love to our friend Sharon and the babies. I know they are heartbroken.
Time sure marches on doesn’t it? Your graduation photo is just plain beautiful. I know you’ll have a wonderful time at the reunion and know you’ve done a lot of work on the event yourself so probably have a good idea who you will see and not see after all this time!!! We will be here for tomorrow’s tribute to Bill who ended his life journey yesterday – our hearts are broken along with so many others………..
Hugs, Pam and Teddy too
50th high school reunion! Does this mean you were a flower child?
