Sparks
I have been so frustrated lately with the blog issues, an injury to my left knee (after one to the right in September) and my lack of energy after COVID that I really need this Spark. I think Cooper Murphy eventually made it successfully out of his battle with the blinds!
The Author of today’s Spark, Dorothea Brande, lived from 1893 to 1948. She was an American writer and editor. Her book Becoming a Writer, published in 1934, is still in print and offers advice for beginning and sustaining any writing enterprise. She also wrote Wake Up and Live, which was published in 1936 and sold more than two million copies. It was made into a movie by the same name in 1937. (I believe I am going to look for a copy of the that first book.)
Sparks is the creation of Annie from McGuffy’s Reader. Sparks began as a blog hop, created by our friend. Annie stated when she began Sparks, “I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world.”

The Adventures of Periwinkle & Stinky
Our two intrepid adventuring tabbies, Periwinkle & Stinky, will be setting off on their next adventure tomorrow from Periwinkle’s home. They always have more fun when you join them, and you can do so tomorrow at Friends Furever. So, please drop by and lend them a hand or paw in whatever they get up to! They’ll be waiting for you.
What a great spark! Cooper Murphy actually escaped from that? It certainly gives hope then, right? Hugs to you, Mom Janet. We hope you have a great week ahead. XO
Cooper Murphy, that’s what I call a predicament!
Otherwise known as never give up and a positive attitude. It’s the only way to make it through some things. Hope your 2023 is better.
That’s a really good Spark and Cooper Murphy is a really cool kitty. I hope your knee is feeling some better.
That is a great spark. XO
A most excellent Spark…words to definitely live by.
Splendid Spark! Dorthea was a very smart woman
Love love that spark! Even failure is success. And yes, that lack of energy is really annoying. It seems to last forever and then one day POOF you feel great again.
Stuff does seem to pile up!
Just as long as you remember that the stuff isn’t YOU; it’s happening to YOU.
I love that Spark. Hubby always say you can’t say you can’t until you’ve tried 10,000 times.
Cooper Murphy is a huge Awww and you know how much I love him.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches all around, a smooch to Cooper Murphy and Sawyer and a big healing hug to you. ♥
An encouraging spark, and a cute picture of Cooper Murphy! Many hopes and purrs that everything gets better soon. I too am getting your notifications again, yay!
What a sweet photo of Cooper Murphy!!!! We hope things start getting better for you soon.

That is totally the best ever spark…thought…and true to the last letter. THAT is the ONLY way to think if you want to succeed. That could be printed and put above the desk where you’d see it every day!
Fear of failure keeps many from succeeding.
That’s a most inspiring SPARK…..! I believe it ties in very closely with my personal “thing” about positivity. Failure isn’t an option period. We’re sorry you hurt your other knee – hopefully it will get better soon. We need our knees that’s for sure. Cooper in the blinds is funny – Mom often says if we had blinds in this house I’d be stuck in them all the time and no doubt they would be on the floor more than they’re in the window! We’ll be excited to see where the Adventurers are headed tomorrow.
Hugs, Teddy and Mom Pam
Go for it has always been our favorite instruction when vacillating between go or stay! Thank you for a perfect spark.
Yes, we cannot think of failure, we mus think of the goal which is our success.
I have been getting your posts in my inbox oonce again! Your persistence has gotten you success!
