Sparks
Yesterday, Cat Scouts had a gathering to remember Scout Angel Timmy and Scout Einstein’s, wonderful dad, Pete Cusack. It was happy and sad, and it made me think of friends I have loved and lost. That is the inspiration for today’s Spark from Helen Keller.
My life and I know that of many others was better for having had this generous, kind, compassionate and caring man in it. We will miss him, but cherish the memories forever.
Sparks is the creation of Annie from McGuffy’s Reader. Sparks began as a blog hop, created by our friend. Annie stated when she began Sparks, “I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world.”
In addition to being the representatives for today’s Spark, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy are joining the Awww Mondays blog hop at Comedy Plus.
The Adventures of Periwinkle & Stinky
Our two little, tabby adventurers will be sharing a new adventure tomorrow over at Friends Furever. They both have their paws crossed you will take a few minutes out of your day to join in the fun.
What a beautiful and apropos Spark. Pete was such a wonderful, generous, and caring man, and we will miss him greatly. But his memory will always live in our hearts.
Pete will be missed by so many of us.
That was a beautiful spark. Pete was truly a friend to all. XO
How nice of the Scouts to do that, we all lost a good friend.
this is the purrfect Spark for Pete. We too have a Pete sized hole in our hearts. We know that he is taking care of all the befores OTB. He was/is one special man.
Lovely SPARK. I am still pretty gutted over Pennsylvania Pete’s passing! I knew him for almost 20 years….it is like I lost a Brother.
A face 2 face person here said how could I grieve so much for someone I had never met & I replied It is no different than face 2 face….sometimes even harder…
I WILL keep Pete in my heart forever <3

I am heartbroken to learn of Pete’s passing. We were just emailing back and forth over the Golden AssRabbit contest this past August. Pete entered Rumpy and Rumpy won a prize. He was so happy! I will cherish his emails and memories of his wonderful sense of humor.
What a lovely tribute to two wonderful blogging buddies. I was new to Pete’s blog, but I sure enjoyed his kind heart and his kitties. So sad.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches all around and a hug to mom. ♥
Friends do live in our hearts forever. They can never be hurt or injuried in such a safe place.
Mr. Pete touched many of our lives and will be missed. Purrs….
The memorial for Dad Pete was very nice. He was a special guy and was loved by all. That’s the purrfect Spark!

Thank you for the Helen Keller saying. It helps. I am still so sad about Dad Pete’s sudden passing and the cats wondering where Dad is. We really are a family here in the CB. One grows to love the animals, and the ones who care for them. Meeting them and their babies is not like meeting a stranger; for we know their hearts. What else do we need to know?
Yesterday’s memorial for Pete was lovely….he was special to EVERYONE and will be missed. In our hearts forever though. Will be anxious to see what “The Dynamic Duo” is up to tomorrow for their weekly adventure!
Hugs, Teddy and Mom
Oh, what a wonderful human being. Sorely missed. And in our hearts….
Friends and their precious memories live deep in our hearts, forever. It helps to take away some of the sting of losing them…
