Sparks
From time to time I have shared a quote as my Spark that has been sent to me by a friend in California. I am doing the same today.
But today, I not only am sharing the Spark, but also introducing you to my friend.
This is Jennifer. We have known each other since high school and reconnected a couple of years ago while planning our 50th reunion. She is beautiful inside and out. She keeps me going with her love and support, and I appreciate her beyond what words can express.
Those of you who are my friends make each day worth living, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you do for me.
Sparks began as a blog hop, created by our friend, Annie (McGuffy’s Reader). Annie is taking a “break” from blogging, so there is no hop. Many of us still continue to post a Spark on Monday, as we believe in Annie’s vision: “I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world!”
Awww Mondays
Catio cats, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer, ignore a birdy to pose for a photo.
The boys are joining the Awww Mondays blog hop at Comedy Plus. To join them, click on the badge below.
The Adventures of Periwinkle & Stinky
We won’t be here tomorrow, but those two fun-loving tabbies, Periwinkle & Stinky, will be off on another adventure. To join in the fun, check out their post tomorrow at Friends Furever.
What a sweet sentiment this is. I also love the beautiful image. And it’s so wonderful that you reconnected with an old friend. You both must be so glad to have each other. Oh, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer, you are both purrfectly awww worthy!
That Spark is so so true! I have a friend who lives a long way from me. but we try to see each other once a year. I know I can always confide in her with my deepest fears, and she knows I am here for her too.
I also have some wonderful internet friends and don’t know what I would do without them.
Great spark ! Glad you got to reconnect with your friend. XO
How wonderful to have a lifelong friend. And two lovely mancats !
A friend like Jennifer is priceless. You are lucky to have each other. What a great pic of Cooper Murphy and Sawyer.
Love that quote. Gotta love that catio too. Looks like the cats don’t care if there are birds outside in the tree. See Yah at the TCC.
Ignore a birdie?!? I think that’s against the Cat Rules…let me see…*flipping through the pages*…Yep, right here, page 45, Paragraph 7, lines 3 through 10. I’ll paraphraze:
“At no time, shalt a feline focus on a human, when prey is nearby and must be glared at.”
See!
It’s a beautiful spark, true friends are so precious. Purrs
We like your Spark cause it’s true. Friends do perk up the day and make troubles a little easier to handle. We are happy to call you friends.
CooperM and Sawyer…you both look fabulicious! CoperM….you are especially ginger in that picture….I’m so excited to see you again….soon, I hope.
Tyebe

That’s a wonderful Spark, howdy Jennifer! It’s nice to see the Dynamic Duo today!!!
It’s wonderful to have a best friend. So special indeed. Love that Spark.
You know how I love seeing Sawyer and Cooper Murphy. My two favorite kitties. Don’t tell the others.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Big hug, honey. ♥
Beautiful Spark! Love and friendship are what stays with us when we depart this life.
Nice catch of Cooper Murphy and Sawyer!
“BIRDS!”
“Uh oh. Look! It’s Mom!”
“Why’s she looking at us?”
“What does she want?”
“How should I know?”
“Phht. Humans. They like to keep us on our toes.”
“What do humans want?”
“To admire us?”
“Obviously …. ”
“I can’t watch the birds while SHE’S watching ME!”
That’s a beautiful SPARK……and we totally know the value of having friends especially when things are rough in our lives. Thanks for being our friends!!! Love the photo of the boys on the catio – I’m sure that bird is waiting for them to turn around so it can chirp away and tease them!!
Hugs, Teddy
Wow, you must be furry impawrtant if they ignore the burdies, MOL! Mayb ew a treat or noms are way more enticing anypaws, cause they can eat that, but they cannot even catch a burdie…
Lovely poses, and that is a wonderful quote. I like the one about friends being the flowers in our life garden, too:)
