Friendly Fill-Ins: Week #20
Today is a fun hop hosted by our friends, Annie (McGuffy’s Reader) and Ellen (15 And Meowing). They each pick two sentences (Ellen the first two and Annie, the second two) with blanks for the participants to fill-in. To join the hop, add your link on Annie’s blog.
My completions of this week’s fill-ins are in teal italics.
1. The last movie I saw at the theater was The Secret Life of Pets.
2. The title of my autobiography would be I’m a Tigger. If you are curious about this title, it is a reference to the book, The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch. Tigger is a metaphor for positivity. I recommend everyone read The Last Lecture. I have referenced this book previously in the post, “Just Call Me Tigger.” You can read that post here. The sub-title of my autobiography would be Resilience. Oh yeah, I have a tattoo of Tigger on my upper back. I had it long before I read Pausch’s book. (Please accept my apology for the poor quality of the photo.)
3. I would love to learn Italian. I do know some…all my numbers, the names of most animals and how to order a glass of wine (Un bicchiere di vino rosso, per favor.) and say thank you to my server, (Prego).
4. I am glad that I learned about blogging, because reading other cat blogs has taught me a lot about cat care and cat behavior.
OMG…Baby Astrid…XO! Great book title…and recommendation, too. Thanks!
I am recovering from falling, so am so far behind. Bear with me, please. Hugs.
Thank you for joining us for the Fill-Ins. Hugs!

OMC! Look at Astrid!! Great fill-in answers.
I like your fill in answers. I started to learn Italian online but have let it slide for too long. I must get back to it again. That is a very cute photo of baby Astrid.
I highly agree with you on #4! I have learned so much about cats by reader other cat blogs. And squee! I can’t handle Astrid’s kitten cuteness!
Great answers, especially #4 ! What a cute photo of baby Astrid ! Purrs
Astrid is adorable. 🙂
David is a Tigger. I’m more on the Eeyore end of things usually. Sometimes, though, I’m a Tigger, like when I make a family history discovery. Those get me very excited and happy. 🙂
I’m glad that I learned about blogging, too. It is lots of fun to learn the stories of other people and to see all the cute kitty photos.
Have a great weekend!
Astrid was a beautiful baby and is still adorable. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, I think it is great you are a Tigger and have a tattoo of him too. I agree that everyone should read that book, it is excellent. You should get some discs from the library to learn Italian, it is never too late. I am glad you earned to blog too 🙂 Have a nice weekend. XO
We enjoyed your fill-ins and Tabitha, aka Astrid’s picture, is very “Awww” worthy. hehe

I really enjoyed your-fills. I saw The Secret Life of Pets in theaters and quite enjoyed it! And I love your idea of an autobiography title. I would love to read that (are you planning on writing it soon?!?). I learned Spanish in school, and although quite rusty now, loved learned it. I agree 100% with you on #4. I, too, am so glad to have discovered the world of blogging. Blogs like yours make us so happy!
