Friendly Fill-Ins: Week $218
As we do each Friday, Kitties Blue and I are joining the Friendly Fill-Ins blog hop hosted by our friends, Ellen, 15 And Meowing, and Lorianne, Four-Legged Furballs. Each week they provide participates with four sentences to be completed by filling in the blanks. You can find the sentences each Thursday on both blogs. To join the hop, click on the badge.
I had to ask for a little help this week from Cooper Murphy with the filling in. We both used teal italics.
1. One word to describe my week is sadness.
2. My biggest success has been overcoming my shyness and lack of self confidence, so I could enjoy a mostly happy life with a good and supportive husband and friends.
3. Cooper Murphy: Not to brag, but I know my gingerness makes me very handsome.
4. For me, I have no idea what is the meaning of life. (I have been struggling with the answer to this for a very long time.)
Feline & Friendship Friday Blog Hops
Our newest angel, Mau, is back today in a series of photos from last summer. He was playing with a cat-face, felt toy. It was a gift from his sweet wife Allie. Mau liked all toys and enjoyed carry them around the house and presenting them to his dad and me. This was a favorite; though, so it (along with two others) went to the Bridge with him. There are about ten photos in this series, and I am so happy to have them.
Our angel is joining the blog hops at Comedy Plus (Feline Friday) and Create With Joy (Friendship Friday). You can join him by clicking on either or both badges.
It is hard not to be sad. But if we surround ourselves with those we love and those who play well with us somehow we get by! Enjoyed your fill in answers. I like seeing all the different responses. Have a good weekend. Tomorrow is National Cat Day – ENJOY!
We are sorry you are so sad right now. We have been thinking of you all lots, and hoping you are doing okay. It was nice seeing Angel May today. We sure do miss him. XO
We know you are sad. It is the price we all pay for loving deeply, and we hope that after some time, remembering the wonderful times will begin to take the sting from the pain of the loss. We will purr for you.
And Cooper M? Well, you *are* just the handsomest ginger boy EVER!
We think the meaning of life is that we care to engage in the search for that meaning. It’s the journey not the destination. The Human says she mostly doesn’t trust people who think they have it all figured out. XOXOXO
Mau was a handsome boy. My Sammy feels awful for missing the memorial for Mau at Scouts yesterday, but we had no power which means no internet.
That is a sweet set of photos. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers, but I am sorry you are sad- it is understandable though. XO
So nice to see Mau playing. We sure miss him.
Those are really wonderful photos of Mau and we send you support as it is so hard to move forward after suddenly losing a dear friend. Please take the time to meditate and look inside for the quiet place. It is there but very hard to find at times.
Cooper you know gingerness is bestedness MOL
The photos of Angel Mau are lovely and so precious to have.
I’m so sorry for all your sadness. I’ve been thinking about you a lot. Losing a baby is ever so hard.
Cooper Murphy is the most handsome ginger ever. Tell him I love him.
Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. Scritches to all the kitties and a big hug to the mom. ♥
Those were really good answers and such a precious series with Angel Mau.
Hugs and purrs as you grieve for Angle Mau.
Having struggled with some of the same shyness issues, please remember that you are unique, a work of art…there is no one like you! Just be the best YOU that you can be, and refuse to compare yourself to others.
Those are great photos of Mau. I have also overcome shyness so I know how you feel, although I would still not be able to make a speach in front of a crowd.
I love your answers especially the one from Cooper Murphy! Sweet photos of Angel Mau.😻
We were all so happy to see Angel Mau with his toy this morning. We sure miss him a lot.
Great Fill-in answers. We can’t imagine you being shy or having a lack of confidence. We also agree with #1. Lots of sadness these days.
The Florida Furkids
What darling photos of Mau with his toy – he truly was a VERY loved boy not just by you but by EVERYONE who knew him. I do like to think of him and Angel Sammy running around playing together at the Bridge. Great fill-ins………….
Hugs, Pam
Angel Mau was such the bestest boy ever. We love seeing his photos even if he’s an angel now!
Cooper Murphy! Gabriel said something similar about his gingerness! You guys are silly.
Number 2 is so good and tell your mom good job!
