Friendly Fill-Ins: Week #113
Both Kitties Blue and I are completing the Fill-Ins this week. Usually they prefer not to be bothered, but they volunteered to help this week. I’m suspecting they are expecting some sort of special treat. We do have an item to review that I haven’t given them yet. If everyone behaves themselves today, I will consider it.
Both the kitties and I have used teal italics for our completions.
My Completions:
1. As a child, I feared the dark hallway from the living room to my bedroom and would run down it as fast as I could. And I always have been frightened by fire. I won’t even light a match.
2. Friday the 13th is the date in August, 1965, when my mom died at age 45. She was a very superstitious Irish Catholic, so it wasn’t a surprise that she passed on that date.
3. I think tenacity is my best quality. Second would be my eyebrows!
4. You can’t go wrong with loving and caring for cats. Dad Tom has added, except for the blood.
Kitties Blue Completions:
1. Astrid: As a child kitten, I feared that my brother, Bobby, and I would not be discovered on the roof where we were found.
2. Kitties Blue: Friday the 13th is today, but that doesn’t mean anything to us. Just another day of napping, playing, watching the birds and squirrels and begging for treats.
3. Cooper Murphy: I think my ginger furs and being a friend to my little brother, Sawyer, and my big brother, Mau, is are my best qualityies.
4. Misty May: You can’t go wrong with taking over Mom’s pillow and sleeping on her head.
Friday Fill-Ins is a blog hop hosted by Ellen (15 And Meowing) and Lorianne (Four-Legged Furballs). They each select two sentences to be completed and post them on their blogs on Thursday. The hop is at Four-Legged Furballs on Friday. To go their now, click on the badge below.
We are also joining Feline Friday at Comedy-Plus.
I enjoyed all those fill-ins!
Oh how I relate to the head sleeping! I love to sleep on the Female Human’s Head and sometimes, even on her face! One of my favorite things to do is drag my claws through her head when she’s sleeping so she has a very unique hairdo when she gets up!

I think the fear of dark spaces is pretty common. For many of us we can just feel something is wrong there. Have a blessed week.
While I don’t share your fear of fire, I remember quite clearly those dark hallway runs as a child! No fun at all.
Your mama passed away just 5 days before I was born. I am so sorry about her passing away so young.
You are all such beautiful kitties and all the photos are great.
Have a blessed weekend. 🙂
Great fill-ins! Cooper Murphy you look good and sound good but is it true. I have found being a friend to a yougun’ is way too hard. They are stupid and hairy.
Shoko
All good answers, especially Cooper Murphy’s about being such a good brother.
Thank you all for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! Every one of you deserves treats for your clever answers, Dad Tom included. It would seem lots of us were fearful of darkness as children. I used to be afraid to put my feet on the floor beside my bed as a child, because the darkness beneath the bed frightened me. Cooper Murphy, Evan wholly agrees about those ginger furs! Purrs and happy Friday to all of you!
Thank you all for your fill-ins answers, I enjoyed them all. I am sorry you lost your Mom so early in life. Our answer for #4 was the same , not a surprise. And all you kitties had great answers too. Have a nice weekend! XO
How nice you kitties pawticipated in the fill ins today. We hope you do it more often.
Wowzers!
I LOVE your fill ins guys. I was sad to read your Mom’s about her Mom though. I would never have though of eyebrows as being my best quality…my whiskers or my tail might be up there though….

Our mommy was (and still is) afraid of basements! The kind where there’s little windows at ground level. Thankfully we have a walk out basement here so it has normal windows and doors so she’s not scairt of it. She’s weird. Kities Blue, you all had great answers! Astrid, we’re glad you and Bobby were found!
PeeS: We got an email that her socks shipped today!
Great fill in responses from all of you. How sad that your mom died at such an early age. We’re with the kitties on Friday the 13th…just another day for us to nap, eat, play.
Those were all great answers, well, except for your Mom, hugs.
“except for the blood…” Hahahahahahaha!
Sorry about your mom passing so young. It’s hard to lose your mom. I know.
I like your answers, but I love it when the kitties answer the questions too.
I linked this post to Feline Friday.
Have a purrfect day and weekend. My best to your peeps. ♥
Allie can’t believe her luck seeing Mau on the blog this morning. Only thing is she wishes that was HER snuggling with him.
Great Fill-ins!!
The Florida Furkids with bazillion kisses and tons of love to Mau from Allie
So sorry to hear about your Mom. That’s really young. Not being of a superstitious nature, I’ve never had a problem with Friday the 13th (except for those awful movies that I never saw! HA). I’m a big proponent of black kitties and still have two of our seven who are black.
Your mom died way too young. I’m sorry. My dad was 59 and I thought that was young.
Oh that photo of Coop and Mau is too darn sweet for words……looks like you ALL did a great job of filling in today. My Mom says that she suspects if something bad had ever happened to her on a Friday the 13th she probably wouldn’t like those days but so far anyway, nothing has! SO – we hope you all have a GOOD 13th…..stay cool.
Hugs, Teddy
I used to sleep on my human’s head when I was a kitten, but I stopped doing it after a while.
