Friendly Fill-Ins: Week #176
It’s Friday, which means it is time for weekly fill-ins. Hosted by Ellen (15 and Meowing) and Lorianne (Four-Legged Furballs), this is a fun blog hop. It gives participants the opportunity to learn a bit more about each other. To participate, check out either Ellen or Lorianne’s blog on Thursday to find the sentences to be filled in. To join the blog hop, click on the badge at the left. The hop takes place at Four-Legged Furballs.
Once again, I managed to complete all four of this week’s fill-ins without needing to enlist the help of any of the Kitties Blue. My fill-ins are in teal italics.
1. I think it would be fun to go tubing.
2. I have a hankering for pie. (I always have a hankering for pie.)
3. Tom and I being forgotten and left at the chapel after getting married, while everyone else went to our wedding reception, is a memory I will never forget.
4. If I were given the choice to be immortal, I would not take it unless Dad Tom had the same opportunity.
Saying Good-Bye
Before going on to our Feline Friday photo, Kitties Blue and I would like to acknowledge the loss of Ellen’s lovely girl, Noel. Ellen has been taking some time off from blogging to spend with ailing Noel. Two days ago, Noel was helped to the bridge. Our prayers go out to Ellen, David and the family as they grieve her loss.
Feline Friday – Not a Trap
With Calista Jo, what you see is what you get. If you want to pet that tummy, go right ahead. Snorgling? I really don’t know. If you decide to go for it, let me know what happens.
C.J. is purrticipating in the Feline Friday blog hop at Comedy Plus. To join her. click on the badge below.
They left you behind – MOL! That is a funny memory. This is the second mention of pie on this hop, I’m going to go get me some pie!
Calista Jo, I used to not like having my tummy rubbed…but now…I LOVE it and can’t get enough! The mom doesn’t know what changed. ~Ernie
#3 is a funny memory. We need to know more!
I am sad that Noel has gone to the Bridge.
“Happy Wedding ! Happy Wedding !
Holy Cow !
Now you’re married, finally married !
CAKE AND ICE CREAM, FEED US NOW !”
pretty much explains number 3 above.
I will definitely snorgle the tummy Calista Jo. Thank you for remembering my sweet Noel. And thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. That is funny that you and Tom were left behind- how long did it take someone to figure it out? XO
You got left at the chapel after you got married? There’s a story here for sure. Yikes.
So sad about Noel. We all love Ellen and her kitties.
Calista Jo has a fabulous tummy, but I’m ever so cautious to mess with kitties tummies.
Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. My best to your siblings and your peeps. ♥
So, how did you get to your reception? I’m sure there was no Uber back then…
I’ve put my face in many kitty bellies, whether it was advised or not! The Hubby is sure I’m going to get my nose ripped off one day, but he’s a negative Nelly.
We enjoyed your answers and we enjoyed that very special Calista Jo tummy too!
OMC we think #3 is a hoot! That’s a story we need to hear! Now Mom wants pie too.
Raz and Allie will accept tummy rubs….Noelle is most definitely a trap!
The Florida Furkids with smoochies and love to Mau from Allie and paw pats and headbonks to Stinky from Periwinkle.
Tubing? No, thanks. I love to swim but I love to be able to see what’s in the water with me! LOL! What a wedding memory — funny but not! At least you were together! <3
So sorry to hear about Noel. Prayers of comfort go out to Ellen and her family at this difficult time.
What a lovely tummy, C.J.! Wishing you all a wonderful weekend ahead!
Apricot pie?! Count me in! I’ll take my chances with CJ too!
Gosh – tummies are traps a lot of the time. Mom usually gets her share of wrist wounds if she tries to get in a tummy rub! My Mom says even though it’s funny to read about being left behind at the chapel we just bet it wasn’t all that funny at the time!!! People get so excited at weddings they forget (the new husband and wife???!!!). Happy Friday.
Hugs, Teddy
Your fill ins are furry interesting! I can only imagine what your thoughts were for #3, MOL!
Noel will be so sadly missed, but cherished forever, and not ever forgotten .
CJ, you sure look like you are begging for a tummy rub!
