Friendly Fill-Ins: Week #190
Friendly Fill-Ins is hosted by Ellen* (15 And Meowing) and Lorianne (Four-Legged Furballs). Each select two sentences for participants to complete. If you’d like to play along, click on the badge at the left. That will take you to Lorianne’s blog, where you can enter the link to your post.
The sentences to be completed can be found on both blogs each Thursday.
I have filled in using teal italics, without any help his week from Kitties Blue.
1. When I am feeling “down,” I eat dark chocolate, peanut M&Ms.
2. I want to have cats in my life for as long as I am on this earth.
3. No one knows me better than Dad Tom.
4. Will Sawyer have a seizure today? is a thought that crosses my mind often.
* Ellen’s Prancie received her wings on Wednesday, so Ellen will not be participating in Fill-Ins this week. She also will be taking a bit of a break from posting. If you have not had the opportunity to leave your condolences for Ellen and husband David, click on the link in the first paragraph.
We will remember Prancie on our Sunday Selfies blog hop.
Feline Friday
Astrid is joining the Feline Friday blog hop at Comedy Plus and the Friendship Friday blog hop at Create With Joy from the cat tree in the bedroom. (She wasn’t too happy about being disturbed and refused to look up.) To join her, click on the badges below.
Thank you for remembering my sweet girl and for dedicating the selfies to her. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I am sorry you have to always worry about Sawyer’s seizures though. I am with you on always wanting to live with cats. I can’t imagine a life without them. XO

Astrid looks very comfy there. The mom says…they have dark chocolate peanut M&Ms? She’s gotta get some!
Thank you for the link to Ellen’s most recent post. It breaks my heart that Prancie has left them. Prancie’s eccentricities will live on in their minds and she will never be forgotten.
Janet, you hit the nail on the head with #2. Family members do know us best. Especially very close family members.
Jean
Astrid, you appear to be flying in a UFO! Cute!
Getting outside into nature or near a body of water really helps me when I get the sads.
What a great spot for a snooze.
I think many people put emotions & food in the first fill-in.
Astrid looks very comfy in her tunnel.
Those were great answers and a really sweet Astrid!
Thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! Dark chocolate is one of my go-to comfort foods. It’s healthy, though! At least, that’s what I tell myself. And we very often purr and pray that sweet Sawyer has no more seizures. He is so lucky to have you and Tom, Janet. Oh, and you look so cozy in your cat tree, Astrid! We’re sorry you were disturbed by the camera, but we’re glad we got to see your adorable tortie self. Purrs!
Those are some good fill-ins and we worry about that last one too. Astrid you are look so beautiful today
Mom says she never wants a home without cats!!! We’re very sad about Prancie. We all knew it was coming but it sure is hard when it happens. Mom understands the last answer too since she feels the same way.
The Florida Furkids with smoochies and love to Mau from Allie and paw pats and headbonks to Sawyer from Noelle
I agree that I will probably have cats my whole life. When I first saw the photo of Astrid I thought it needed to be rotated until I looked closer. I think it was cropped just right and has an artistic flair.
Love that photo of Astrid hanging out on her cat tree……I’m sure she forgave you for pointing the camera in her direction – she probably went right back to sleep! We are very sad for Ellen and David losing another of their dear kitties. Prancie was the “Cover Girl” for Tabby Cat Club this month – so glad she was so we could share the sweet things about her. Love your fill-in answers! We know cats will ALWAYS be a big part of the Blue household………….as it should be.
Hugs, Pam and Teddy too
My thoughts are with Ellen.
There is nothing better than chocolate when you are feeling down!
1. When I am feeling “down,” I try to find things that are blessings because there is always something to be thankful for.
2. I want to have beautiful music (Classical), in my life for as long as I am on this earth.
3. No one knows me better than my family.
4. I wonder if so & so (various residents at my work), will still be there when I get back (after several days off, since I work part time), are thoughts that cross my mind often.
It is sad that Prancie had to leave her furmily. She will be greatly missed.
