Friendly Fill-Ins: Week #192
Friendly Fill-Ins is hosted by Ellen (15 And Meowing) and Lorianne (Four-Legged Furballs). Each select two sentences for participants to complete. If you’d like to play along, click on the badge at the left. That will take you to Lorianne’s blog, where you can enter the link to your post.
The sentences to be completed can be found on both blogs each Thursday.
These are some of the toughest fill-ins ever. I had to call on both Mau and Sawyer to help me out. I tell myself each week that I will fill-in with the first thing that pops into my mind. It’s tough, however, when nothing comes to mind!
Anyhoo, the boys and I have used teal italics to complete the fill-ins. Explanatory info is in parentheses.
1. I am particular about my writing and grammar and always proofread my work carefully.
2. Sawyer: My tummy is like a clock. (I always know exactly when it is time to get my treats [11 a.m.] and lunch [3 p.m.].)
3. Mauricio: My marriage to Allie (Friends Furever) in a ceremony at Cat Scouts is a moment I will never forget.
4. Have you ever heard of an American who doesn’t like John Wayne or chocolate chip cookies? (I did like John Wayne in True Grit and will eat a chocolate chip cookie if it is the only sweet thing in the house.)
Feline & Friendship Fridays
For the blog hops, Feline Friday at Comedy Plus and Friendship Friday at Create with Joy, I am using a flashback photo from July 2015 of our sweet and beautiful angel, Fiona.
I did use this photo back in 2015 for Caturday Art.
If you’d like to join the hops, click on the badges below.
I will never pass up a chocolate chip cookie, but I’ll pick an oatmeal raisin first! I love the answers, sounds like you can set a clock by Sawyer’s tummy – MOL! Precious angel Fiona, that is a lovely memory.
I enjoyed seeing your flashback of Sweet Angel Fiona. I loved all the answers for Friendly Fill-Ins. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy the weekend. HUGS
Great fill Ins. Sawyer and Mau did a fantastic job of filling in their own sentences. I was never keen on John Wayne’s acting and I prefer peanut butter cookies to chocolate chip.
Jean
Those were really good answers and we loved that flashback of sweet Angel Fiona.
Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. It is good to know when treat time is 🙂 I don’t think I have ever seen anything with John Wayne in it other than the episode of I Love Lucy he was on. Cute flashback photo. XO
Thanks for sharing your friendly fill-in answers. We love that Sawyer has a treat timetable for the day. He is just too cute. Thanks for sharing the lovely flashback photo. Have a wonderful rest of your day.
I wish I could say the same about number one. Knowing where to put commas always confounds me so I might have developed a slight “I don’t care” attitude. I remember I was almost sixteen when John Wayne died. I was in a car with friends when we heard the news so we pulled over for a moment of silence. I’m sure a comma is missing in the last sentence.
Great fill in answers! The mom doesn’t like chocolate chip cookies much either and will only eat them if they are the only cookie available. She much prefers peanutbutter or oatmeal.
Dear Sawyer, keep eating those treats AND all your noms!!
paw pats and headbonks,
Noelle
Mau, that moment is one I too will never forget.
Smoochies and love,
Allie
I always check everything before I publish too.
I used to use spell checker but haven’t for years because it tries to make me use American spelling.
On my old computer the shift key used to stick sometimes, and it drove me crazy to see i instead of I when I hadn’t noticed it.
That is a sweet photo of Angel Fiona.
My ex-husband lived in Germany for a year and I was REALLY put out that they don’t commonly have chocolate chip cookies there. I’m pretty picky about them though: if it’s not right, forget it.
Pawsome fill-ins and we also absolutely love that flashback of Angel Fiona…..making sure she isn’t “invaded” in her cube by one of her furry family members!
Hugs, Teddy
I wish my momma would be that precise wif my treats!
