Friendly Fill-Ins
It’s Friday, so that means it’s time for Fill-Ins. Friendly Fill-Ins is a blog hop hosted by Ellen (15 And Meowing) and Lorianne (Four-Legged Furballs). They each post the sentences to be filled in on Thursday, and the hop takes place on Lorianne’s blog each Friday. To participate, click on the badge at the left.
Astrid and Sawyer asked to help with the fill-ins. Of course, I couldn’t turn them down. They each selected which sentence they wanted to complete. Astrid and Sawyer used blue italics for their completions, and I used teal italics. All of our explanatory info is in parentheses.
1. I have no particular plans on Memorial Day. (Dad Tom is out of town and won’t return until after the holiday.)
2. I try to avoid poison ivy, as I am highly allergic to it.
Astrid: I try to avoid Misty May. (She’s mean to me.)
3. If I had a catchphrase, it would be: “I’m so over this!” (I selected this as I find myself saying it more and more as this construction project crawls forward. Thankfully, some progress has been made.)
This is the tile in the area where the clawfoot tub will sit. The tiling is complete on the bathroom and laundry room floors (under the cardboard). The process of installing the hardwood floors in the bedroom and closet will begin today.
4. The anticipation of the end result motivates me to work hard.
Sawyer: The possibility of receiving treats motivates me to work hard. (With regard to taking my meds by eating my stinky goodness.)
Feline Friday
Misty May also is joining Comedy Plus for their blog hop. Click on the badge below to go the there.
You don’t look mean, Misty May ! Your bathroom is going to be fabulous, and we bet everyone will be happy when the reno is over. Purrs
I don’t knows Astrid, Misty Mae looks so sweet, I thinks I could gets diabetes!! BOL!!!
Oh, I loves the tile! Just think when it’s all done…ahhhhh
Kisses,
Ruby ♥
Thank you both for these great fill-in answers. Misty May does look very sweet, but I know a pretty face hides a naughty kitty- my Angel Lucy was like that. I hope you ll have a wonderful treat filled weekend. XO
Misty May looks like a sweetie to me! Those were good answers too!
We love all your answers. Looks like that will be nice space for cats to relax on cool tile so I want more pictures of you all enjoying the finished product. Maybe a play in the tub? That sounds like fun.
Thanks fur coming to my birthday pawty
Miss Fitz
The new addition looks great so far! We know how frustrating it can be when all you want is for the construction to be over. But it will be before you know it.
Renovations and extensions can be so frustrating, but it will all be worth it in the end.
Hahaha, Misty May! We all know that cats can hide a dangerously fierce purrsonality under a fluffy coat of fur! Our two ‘little old lady’ cats, Angel and Sweetie, will kick your butt, if they don’t like what’s going on!
Oh I know mom and I both would be really anxious to get the reno over with. How awful. But the result as everyone has said makes it all worthwhile.
I have not gone through a major project like that but I imagine dealing with the disruptions would get old quick.
We’re going to be doing facelifts on our home too and I’m not looking forward to the disruption. I can’t wait to see the end result though.
Love all the fill-ins. Kitties do the very best with these.
You do not look mean, Misty May.
Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. My best to your peeps. ♥
Your bathroom is going to be FABULOUS. We’re sure the whole addition will be!
We don’t think Misty May looks mean. She looks very sweet snoozing in her sun puddle.
The Florida Furkids with smoochies and love to Mau from Allie and paw pats and headbonks to Sawyer from Noelle.
Looks can be so deceiving, Misty May. You don’t look mean at all! LOL! Why can’t construction projects ever go as planned. But even just based on that one picture, it will certainly be worth it when it’s done. Love that tile design!
Misty May you do NOT look mean to me you look ASLEEP! My Mom and I think that all of you will be super duper glad when the construction project is done and dusted (so to speak) and you can enjoy all the new space you will have. Hang in there – there is a light at the end of the tunnel but it’s a lot further away than you had thought it would be!
Love, Teddy (and Mom)
