Mauricio has been so busy with Cat Scouts, that he has totally worn himself to a frazzle. With much colder temperatures (29 degrees at 9 a.m. this morning) causing the kitchen’s heated floor to come on, the ideal conditions are in place for cat napping.
Never one to miss a good opportunity for a snooze, Mauricio has floated away to dreamland.
I am really hoping he is dreaming about his Cardwood Derby car for Cat Scouts and is ready to start building it when he wakes up. He doesn’t know it yet, but we will be leaving again in just eight days. We must finish it before his dad and I leave as there will be no time when we return.
If it is cold where you are, we hope you are curled up in a sunny spot or on your human’s lap having a toasty and snuggly, old-fashioned Easy Sunday.
P.S. If you are reading this with or to your cat(s), please skip over the part about us going away again. No need to traumatize the kids just yet. Thanks.
