Friendly Fill-Ins: Week #168
If it is Friday, it must be time for the Friendly Fill-Ins blog hop, which I always enjoy. Sometimes the sentences to be filled in leave me scratching my head while trying to think of a way to complete one or more. When that happens, I ask one of the Kitties Blue for help. This week that kitty was Astrid. I think she nailed #3.
Friendly Fill-Ins is hosted by Ellen (15 And Meowing) and Lorianne (Four-Legged Furballs). Every week they each come up with two sentences with blanks to be filled in by participants. You can find those on their blogs on Thursdays if you’d like to join in the fun.
To take part in the hop, click on the above badge. You will be whisked away to Lorianne’s blog where you can enter the link to your post.
1. A benefit of blogging is making new friends who share your interests.
2. Sometimes one needs to take a break from noise. (I like it when I am home alone with no devices turned on and Misty May asleep.)
3. Astrid: I’m most likely to become famous for my purr, which is comparable to the roar of a National Hot Rod Association dragster.
4. Eating plant-based “meat” products is a current trend that makes no sense to me.

Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. My Sammy has a loud purr too, but I bet yours is louder. I have tried some pretend meat and it is not very tasty. Have a nice weekend! XO
No plant based meat here either. If you don’t want to eat meat no-one is saying you should, but why try and make plants look like meat.
The mom likes to have quiet too…except for our purring. Though we bet neither of us purr as loud as you do, Astrid.
Our Gemma has a purr like a Ferrari, while Kai’s purr sounds like a Mack truck! We love all the purrs, you can never have enough purrs.
Oh, I agree on the whole ‘fake meat’ stuff! What’s that all about? I don’t want to eat meat, and therefore don’t want to eat stuff that mimics meat! We don’t buy vegan sausage, or cheese, or anything like that. We eat pan-grilled cauliflower, black bean hummus, and portobello mushrooms. Cat MUST eat meat, so our cats get proper cat food!
My human says sorry to all the naysayers, but she’s totally down with plant-based meat. But then, she’s Californian! Of course she would be! Fortunately for me, I get all meat, all the time – the real stuff!
Meat is meat and plants are plants. Just saying.
Yes I can hear that purring. Good job.
Love your fill-ins and I’m the same with the noise. Not a welcome thing anymore.
Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. My best to your wonderful mom. ♥
Terrific answers! Fake meat has no place here!
No “plant-based” stuff for us. The real thing is what nature intended, IMO. Have a purrfect Friday.
We don’t get the “plant based” thing either! Were purrty sure we can hear Astrid!
The Florida Furkids with smoochies and love to Mau from Allie and paw pats and headbonks to Sawyer from Noelle
Super filling in today……we don’t “get” plant-based meat either….or even the stuff people are growing in test tubes! No thanks – we want the real thing. You’re right too about how nice it is to have a QUIET day once in a while BUT loud purring is always allowed and I do my share of that too! HAPPY FRIDAY.
Love, Teddy
Bowie and I both have LOUD purr motors too!
Yes, Number four…we here will just stick with the real thing…bi=oth furs and peeps like!
Yup, we heard Astrid!
Through blogging and social media, I learned all I know about computers…and a whole world was open before me.
