Friendly Fill-Ins: Week #130
Again this week, Sawyer has helped me complete the Fill-Ins. We both used teal italics for our completions.
1. Sawyer: I just want to play with Calista Jo, but when I try she growls and hisses, and snorts and spits. What’s wrong with her?
2. My next milestone on the Peloton will be 450 rides. I am at 415 now and a 71-week streak.
3. The sound of the telephone ringing makes me cringe. It is never anyone I want to talk to…just robocalls, sales people claiming I’ve won something and charities wanting money or wanting me to collect money from my neighbors.
This gets two answers: The sound of Misty May whining makes me cringe, as I know she will not stop until she gets what she wants.
4. Sawyer: Right now, I am craving a nice, live mousie to play with. As the weather is starting to get colder, I am hoping one or more will sneak into the house.
As you can probably tell, this is an old photo of me. It was taken this past March.
Friendly Fill-Ins is a weekly blog hop hosted by Ellen (15 And Meowing) and Lorianne (Four-Legged Furballs). The sentences to be completed can be found on each of their blogs every Thursday. To pop on over there, click on the badge at the top.
Sawyer also is joining Comedy Plus for their Feline Friday hop. To join that hop, click on the badge below.
We will see you tomorrow with some Caturday Art.
Thank you both for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! Sawyer, Calista Jo sounds just like Eddy around here. She hisses, growls, spits, slaps, and does all sorts of things like that to kittens Tonks and Winky. It’s like she despises them or something. And I am with you on the sound of the phone ringing. It’s never anything legitimate these days. I’m sorry we’re so late to visit! Purrs, and have a wonderful day!
All we get are robo calls and we have Nomorobo too. Great answers!
We’ve never seen a real live mousie before! That’d be cool! Good for your mom to ride the Peloton that many times! Our mommy does boot camp at 5am so she’s cranky most days.
Sawyer, we heard that there were mousies in our garage…but none of them have been brave enough to come into the house.
Oh boy….yummy mousies!!! We hope you get one but we’re pretty sure your Mom and Dad would prefer that they stay outside.
The Florida Furkids with bazillion smoochies and tons of love to Mau from Allie
Here’s hoping that Calisto Jo figures out that you are harmless, Sawyer! Not harmless to a mouse, of course, but to her, you are just a pussy cat!
We wish you luck finding a real live mouse, Sawyer.
Thank you both for these great fill-in answers. That is fantastic about the peleton ( I had to look it up ). And Sawyer, I hope you get a mousie soon. Have a mice, I mean nice weekend! XO
I hope you get your mousie, Sawyer! Nobody rings us on our landline. If it does ring I don’t answer because I know it will be someone trying to sell something. I don’t know why we keep it.
I hear you about the phone. We hardly ever answer the phone here. The calls are way down since the election is over. We’re happy about that.
Glad you finally got to comment at my place. Weirdness. I linked this post to Feline Friday just in case.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. My best to your peeps. ♥
We prefur mice to the phone ringing any old day!
Wowsers, Sawyer, you look like a great mouser
Around here, there’s always a hisser too … two guesses who it is. I cringe at a live mouse though after hearing Ellie whine after losing her sparkle ball, I can see how that might actually be preferable 🙂
Gosh Sawyer – I’ve never ever seen a real mousie but I wouldn’t mind if I did! I look for little moles and field mousies outside under the leaves ALL THE TIME but never can find one. My Mom says the same thing your Mom says about the phone. Even we have the do not call registry thing we STILL get lots of dumb “nothing” calls and they are annoying. They disturb my naps!
Hugs, Teddy
I hope you get your wish about a mousie, Sawyer! Don’t tell your human I said so.
