Sparks
With most of us spending the major portion of our time at home for the past two years, finding comfort in our homes is very important. Luckily for me, I am a homebody, and my favorite place to be is at home. It helps that Dad Tom and I have seven felines to keep us entertained.
Cats, like Cooper Murphy, always seem to be comfy. He is particularly so on his new blanket, which was a gift from his sweet girlfriend Tyebe (Canadian Cats). He’s had a lot of competition from the other Kitties Blue to get an opportunity to enjoy it. He’d planned to share with everyone as part of Thankful Thursday, but I ended up not posting that day.
Cooper (aka Snap) is sending a huge purry thank you to Tyebe (aka Crackle).
Sparks is the creation of Annie from McGuffy’s Reader. Sparks began as a blog hop, created by our friend. Annie stated when she began Sparks, “I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world.”
Awww Mondays
Cooper Murphy, in all his gingery goodness, is participating in the Awww Mondays blog hop at Comedy Plus. If you’d like to do the same, click on the Awww badge.
The Adventures of Periwinkle & Stinky
Tomorrow is our favorite day of the week, as it’s when Periwinkle and Stinky share an adventure. It’s Periwinkle’s turn to plan the event, so you’ll want to check out Friends Furever tomorrow to find out what our tabbies get up to. These two youngsters have lots of fun when they are together and love sharing their adventures with all of you.
We’re homebodies, too, so this spark is just wonderful if you ask us. And Cooper Murphy’s photo is perfect!
We were sure we saw this post and commented but we didn’t. That looks like a pawsome blanket and even better because it came from Tyebe.

Cooper Murphy is very handsome.
While it’s very generous of Cooper Murphy to want to share his new blankie, I think it’s only fair that he should be allowed to keep for himself. I am always asked to share, and … fwankly I don’t enjoy the … how do I put this? The aroma of my brofurs on my bed. Sowwy, but they often stink. But it’s a beautiful gift, and actually… if I lived at yoor house I would pwobably try to steal the blankie for myself. Love, Dori
I’m also a homebody and have taken well to the stay-at-home requirements pandemic. Is it my imagination, or has Cooper Murphy grown bigger?
Yup, we peeps have to get comfy in our own places too, and we enjoy the company of our furry ones to help us be cozy and comfy, too. Win Win for all of us.
There is a Dutch saying about make your bed and be comfy in it where you are…something along the lines of lets just be fine with our current situation and make the best of it. That helped me a lot when pulled up my Canadian roots and transplanted them into Michigan.
Nice spark and Cooper Murphy is a cutie. I love being home 24/7. XO

There really is just NO PLACE LIKE HOME. As much as I like going for walks around my yard – my safe place is in my house in one of my many favorite spots. I feel safe, cozy, and even though I don’t have “brothers or sisters” I never feel alone. Love the spark AND the new blankie!
Hugs, Teddy
Well, we are pretty much socked in here. Two years without guests for dinner, visits from friends, seeing family in another country, and more. But the sun is shining and we can walk everywhere, avoiding maskless and unvaccinated tourists, haha.
