Sparks
I believe today’s Spark is self-explanatory. It clearly describes how I feel about Christmas.
The author of today’s Spark, Thomas Spencer Monson (1927 – 2018) was an American religious leader, author, and the 16th President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church).
As I’ve been reminding you for months, Sparks is the creation of Annie from McGuffy’s Reader. Sparks began as a blog hop, created by our friend. Annie stated when she began Sparks,“I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world.”
Awww Mondays
Dad Tom took this blurry photo of Misty May while she was in his lap at the kitchen island. He entitled it, “Subbing for Mau.” This was Mau’s spot almost every night after dinner. Some of you may recall photos of Mau in this exact spot.
Misty May is participating in the Awww Mondays blog hop at Comedy Plus. To join her, click on the Awww Mondays badge.

That’s a great Spark. And Misty May looks very happy sitting in her dad’s lap.
Bet Misty May wanted to be in that lap, while Angel Mau had commandeered it before!
Now she has free rein.
Love the Spark. Spot on.
Awww on Misty May. Stretching out on dads lap is the very best.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches to all the kitties and a hug to the mom. ♥
We like that Spark and I hope the Service Project cards I do help make some feel good this Christmas. Great Awww Misty Mae
Misty May is such a cutie gal and your Spark was wonderful.
Beautiful spark!
Love Thomas S. Monson, love his quote you chose, and love that picture of Misty May!
Warm and wise thoughts, happy you shared with us ~ and a loving photo.
That’s a great spark……and it really is a reflection of the meaning of Christmas. How SWEET that Misty May took up the position on Dad Tom’s lap that Angel Mau used to occupy – that’s a message if ever there was one! 🙂
Love, Pam and Teddy too
