CATURDAY ART: PEACHY KEEN LISBETH

by Janet Blue on October 18, 2014

Peachy Keen Lisbeth

I always try to tell you how I created my Caturday Art submission, but…

I created the collage in an on-line photo editing program (don’t remember which one) a while ago to use for our Sunday Selfies Blog Hop. The original was rather boring, and I decided not to use it. When I found it in my photo album today, I loaded it into Picasa and began tinkering. Using my belief that more is more, I used a couple of different filters (which ones, I’m not sure) and the vignette feature (in a peach tone) to blur the edges and keep the focus on Lisbeth’s face. The addition of the black and peach frame to turn this lovely tuxie peachy keen was the final step.

I am participating in Athena and Maria’s Caturday Art Blog Hop. To join in or see the other submissions, click on the above badge.

Cat4Sunday Selfies Blog Hop

I am delighted that so many of you have been participating in our Sunday Selfies Blog Hop. It’s almost that time again, so grab your camera, tablet or phone and start snapping those selfies. Once your photos are taken, you can kick back and enjoy your usual easy Sunday.

Consider using this blog hop as a way to feature anipals needing homes or maybe some extra purrs and prayers. And remember, this isn’t just for our kitty furiends. Woofies, buns, piggies…any four-leggers or two-leggers are welcome. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Beautiful art photo, love it! Sorry to have missed your Commentathon for your Mice Bucket Challenge, hope it was very successful (we’ve had a lot going on in the last number of weeks and haven’t been able to keep up with blogging).

Beautiful, as always, Lisbeth. And Mom Janet, you always impress us with your Caturday Art skills.
Looking forward to tomorrow’s Sunday Selfies hop! We might be pretty late joining in… I am visiting my mom for the weekend and forgot my computer. No computer means no blog composing or kitty photos. I am beating my head against the wall over this. My apologies!!!

You’re right, sometimes more is more and this one turned out great. Lisbeth’s face just pops out from the surrounding collage.
