CATS WANT OUT NOW!

Being confined to the house for 11 days was super awful, but even worse is, in the past week, we only have gotten onto the catio a couple of times. And it is usually so late in the day that we have to come back in the house almost immediately. We are being held captive again today as installers are trying to get all the electrical connections set up for the solar panels.

We have been tag-teaming Mom by whining and pawing at the backdoor since early morning. She could abandon us and go upstairs with Dad, but she is afraid one of us will escape if she doesn’t monitor the door. The installers have been in and out trying to get the display for the system installed and working. Fiona did manage to claw open the door once, but Mom grabbed her before she could sprint outside.

Finally the sun is coming out, and we are still in kitty prison. When will this cruel treatment end? We know the birds and squirrels are missing our attentive little faces.

Help! Does anyone know a surefire way to escape from an over-zealous jailer?
