Sunday Selfies: Week #89
In honor of National Pet Parents Day* I decided to include my mommy in my selfie. Once I had the timer set up, I held her down so she couldn’t bolt. I like to get up-close-and-personal so she can smell the stinky goodness on my breath and admire my handsomeness. It appears as if she is ignoring me, but that’s just not possible. A 14-pound cat on one’s chest is impossible to ignore, especially when that cat starts chatting. I am a champion chatty catty!
Wow, check out those toesies. Pretty terrific, don’t you think? I know you want to kiss them.
As far as my mommy goes: It’s a darn good thing I took this photo prior to yesterday afternoon and her falling smack on her face. She probably wouldn’t want to share a photo showing a big bruise on her chin. She is always just one step away from an accident, and yesterday she took one step too many…right off the edge of the cement pad where the pool sits. MOUSES!
So by now you know the purrcedure for hopping. The link-up for your photo is below as is the code to add the hop to your blog if you’d like. Mom just has one request if you do this: Please include a link in your post to The Cat on My Head and/or display our badge. Easy peasy!
And purrlease encourage your bloggy and Facebook friends to join in the fun. Remember, all anipals are welcome regardless of species. If you missed last week, Friends Furever shared dolphins and Kitty Cat Chronicles introduced us to the new members of their family, Sugar Gliders, Jubilee ad Sydney. You just never know who you might meet here on Sundays. It could turn out to be your new BFF.
I’m off to see what kind of mischief I can get up to.
Purrs and paw-pats, Mau (with special smooches for Allie)
* National Pet Parents Day, an unofficial national holiday, was created by Veterinary Pet Insurance (VPI) in 2007. The inspiration came from recognizing the majority of their policyholders considered their pets as members of their family.
