 Friendly Fill-Ins: Week 24

FriendlyFillInsWe are joining our friends and hosts, Ellen (15AndMeowing) and Annie (McGuffy’s Reader) for this week’s fun Halloween-themed fill-ins. This is a blog hop. If you’d like to link up, visit Annie’s blog. My completions are in teal italics.

1. One Halloween, I dressed as a cheerleader. I never was one, but Mauricio currently is one for Cat Scout University. He’s also Cheermaster for the Wolverine’s Patrol and has written many cheers. He’s accentuated his uniform just a bit for Halloween.

2. My favorite comedian is Jeff Dunham and his gang of misfits, especially Walter and Peanut.

3. My scariest Halloween was when one of the kitties ran out the front door when some trick-or-treaters arrived. I do not remember now which cat it was, but I was totally freaked out.

4. Candy Corn is my favourite Halloween treat.

We’ll be back tomorrow with Caturday Art and a press release from Jackson Galaxy on a very important topic for all cat caregivers and advocates.

Those are great answers, especially about the candy corn!

David E. McClendon Sr. October 21, 2016 at 8:31 pm

Yes, candy corn is a veggie and chocolate comes from a bean, so it is okay, too.

I like candy corn, too, and yes, when it needs to be, it is a veggie. 🙂

I’m sorry the kitty escaped when the trick-or-treaters came. I wonder if they scared him/her or if it just seemed a good time to leave? I hope you were able to quickly retrieve said kitty. 🙂

Have a blessed weekend!

I love Mauricio’s cheerleader costume is great! #3 sure is scary! I love the pic for #4, LOL!

Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. Mau makes a cute cheerleader. That is a very scary Halloween, I would be so upset if any of my cats escaped anytime, but especially on Halloween. That meme with the candy corn is adorable. Have a great weekend! XO

Great fill-ins! We hide every time the doorbell rings (sometimes even if it’s only on TV!!) so we would not give our mom a heart attack by running out the door. We have other activities for that!

We love your fill-ins! Mauricio, you make for one handsome cheerleader! I, too, would freak out if one of my furbabies ran out the door with the trick-or-treaters. I have some walkways in my house that make perfect places for baby gates, and with those the furbabies are all kept away from the front door on Halloween night. As for candy corn, of course it’s a veggie, and totally healthy! Otherwise I wouldn’t have already gone through half a dozen bags of it this season…
