Caturday Art
Our beautiful Calista Jo is the backdrop for today’s art. Her photo has been overlain (using PicMonkey) with one of the rose window from Notre Dame. Dad Tom took that photo when we visited Paris in 2013.
Like most of those who own a television, we watched on Monday as Notre Dame de Paris burned. Seeing flames rage through one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited really hurt my heart. I am thankful so many of the treasures housed at the cathedral were saved and millions of euros have been donated to rebuild and restore this historic site.
C.J. is entering the Caturday Art blog hop hosted by Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty. To enter some art of your own or view that of others, click on Athena’s badge below.
Sunday Selfies Easter Hop
Tomorrow, Kitties Blue will be celebrating Easter on the Sunday Selfies blog hop. Whichever of the kitties is the host, they will Easterize their selfie, and all participants are encouraged to do the same. This, of course, is not a requirement.
Mau and Cooper Murphy also will share a fun video that will make you smile.
We are looking forward to seeing our usual hoppers and welcoming new participants.
What beautiful heartfelt art!

Nice. For my art, I was going to do a stained glass cos of those windows but wasn’t satisfied with the result. We were live streaming it and I was comforting and being comforted by my Twitter anipals. So nice to go through it with furrends.
That is beautiful art. How lucky you are to have seen Notre Dame. XO

What beautiful artwork with Calista Jo! The burning of Notre Dame is such a tragedy. So glad it can be restored. Wishing all of you a very blessed Easter!
What a beautiful photo of CJ with the rose window……we too were heartbroken to see Notre Dame on fire – one of our favorite sights in Paris and one that we’ll never forget visiting. It will always be beautiful of course after the rebuild but not “the same”. Have a beautiful Saturday!
Hugs, Pam and Teddy too
I love Calista Jo’s art today!
