GoPets Brush Product Review
A short time ago we were contacted by GoPets and asked if we could mention the company on our blog. No review was necessary, but they offered to send us a free product. What they sent was their slicker brush. The packaging reads, “Works better than a porcupine.” Not having used a porcupine for brushing any of the kitties, I cannot attest to this.
I can confirm that this brush works quite well even on floofy Giulietta. And best of all, she likes it. After I brush one side she will turn over so I can do the other side or her tummy. And here’s the proof…Giulietta floof!
So, you are most likely wondering what makes this brush different or better than the one you are using now. It is SELF-CLEANING!
Cleaning is accomplished by retracting the bristles with the simple push of the button atop the brush. Hold it over the trash and wipe the fur from the surface with one swipe. The retractable bristles also make for easy storage.
The brush is large (almost four inches across) with 672 bristles that are not as stiff as those on other slicker brushes. It is designed for both short and long-haired cats as well as dogs.
A plus for me was the non-slip, silicone, gel-filled handle. The handle conforms to the hand making it comfortable for an extended brushing session or brushing many cats in succession.
GoPets was founded by a group of pet owners. They believe in their products and use them with their own pets. GoPets has been in business for more than 25 years.
GoPets offers a 100% Unconditional Lifetime Satisfaction Guarantee. If you are unsatisfied with your brush, GoPets will replace it or issue a full refund.
Finally, by purchasing GoPets products you are helping other animals. GoPets donates 10% of all profits to animal charities, no-kill shelters and animal rescues.
The GoPets brush is available from Amazon for $29.99, but when I checked was $17.99 on a special offer.

That sounds like a good brush. Purrs
We DO like a brush with self-retracting bristles. That is an awesome feature!
That looks like a great brush, I love how you can get the hair out of it. We are reviewing some nail clippers for them next week ( even though no review was needed ). Great company.
This looks like a great brush! Love the self-cleaning aspect. Getting the fur out of the cat brushes is the hardest thing! Thanks for a great review, friends!
Sampy sends Astrid a kiss for every kitty fur in the world, and we all send lots of love!!!
I have to say, comparing a brush to a porcupine is very odd.
You did a great review and it’s good to know that this brush works well on the floofy kitties.

Those are pretty good brushes!!
Those are good brushes, we have one like that here, too. Minko loves it and dog-guy, but Pipo.not so much…but then he never likes any kind of brushing activity. Strange kitty that he is, MOL!
