Sparks
I think this is a good thing in these trying times, but it doesn’t go far enough. We cannot stop at believing, we must pray as well. We must pray for these wildfires on the west coast to be contained and that no more loss of life or property occurs. I also pray each day for people to use their common sense and follow their state’s and the CDC guidelines for dealing with the coronavirus, so we can put an end to it. The loss of lives has reached astronomical proportions, and I am certain no one wants to become one of those statistics.
I become overwhelmed when I think of the devastation from these two things as well as the violence and political divide in our county. I do pray for things to get better, and I am going to remind myself each day to believe they will.
Sparks was the creation of Annie from McGuffy’s Reader. Sparks began as a blog hop, created by our friend. Annie stated when she began Spark,“I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world.”
Awww Mondays
Nothing evokes an “awww” more than a kitten, so today I have gone for a baby photo of Angel Fiona. In fact this photo isn’t just “awwwdorable,” it is downright “squeeable.”
I am sending my precious Fiona over to Comedy Plus to participate in the Awww Mondays blog hop. To do the same, click on the badge below.
The Adventures of Periwinkle & Stinky
Tomorrow Stinky and his girlfriend, Periwinkle, will be off on another of their exciting adventures. You’ll be able to join them at Friends Furever. Please don’t disappoint them by missing out on the fun!
Oh my, that Baby Fiona pic is straight up adorbs!
Oh my! The Human and I really identify with your thoughts about all the travail that is happening right now. Pandemic, fires, politics, and more. Though San Francisco has been safe from the fires (if not from the smoke), the Human has dear friends here and in Oregon whose homes have been and continue to be threatened. It’s really just All Too Much with everything else.
So thank goodness for sweet little Angel Fiona who indeed made us squee and squee today. XOXO

The Florida Furkids with paw pats and headbonks to Sawyer from Noelle
That’s a wonderful spark and a totally beautiful Angel Fiona.
The fires are awful and it’s terrible that many have been arson. That’s just crazy. There are those that are trying to destroy America.
Awww on the kitty. So precious.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Scritches to all the kitties and a big hug to the mom. ♥
If we all apply The Golden Rule, we’d all be less stressed and wondering what the heck is going on!
But those fires out West are alarming; can we all do a rain dance to help out?
Sweet baby!
We needed to see a cute kitten face today. Thanks for providing Fiona’s baby pic.
Yes we must all WORK to achieve what we want – climate change to help the horrible fires, an end to the incredibly frightening loss of lives from THAT and the virus, and something to happen to give us a reason to believe in the future. It’s up to us to make it happen. We think that photo of Angel Fiona as a wee babe is beyond precious. Can’t wait to see what Stinky and Periwinkle get up to tomorrow!
Hugs, Pam and Teddy too
That is the cutest photo of Angel Fiona as a baby.
Great spark, and yes you are right, we have to move to action to get some of that impossible done. Miracles do happen, but sometimes we have to participate in their making!
Praying for rain to help stop those nasy scary fires…and for that evil virus to just plain get lost! And for peeps to have more level heads so that they would realize violence is never the correct way to change things.
I wanted to also say, Angel Fiona was so squeeable indeed! And just look at those crossed paws, MOL!
