Astrid was enjoying a nice day on the catio last week. Springtime temperatures are iffy and getting time on the catio can be sporadic.
Astrid is participating in the Feline Friday (Comedy Plus) and Friendship Friday (Create With Joy) blog hops.
Friendly Fill-Ins: Week #303
Astrid, as well as Lisbeth, helped me with the fill-ins this week. I wish I could find a way for Kitties Blue to do all of them each week. Unfortunately, sometimes the sentences aren’t really cat specific. The three of us used the usual teal italics for our fill-ins.
1. Lisbeth: I rarely spend time downstairs with the rest of the family. I hang out upstairs on the radiator in the old master bedroom instead.
2. My spring to do list includes continuing to clean up my flowerbeds and the yard and continuing to work on The Cat on My Head to improve it.
3. Astrid: If I were invisible for a day, I would sneak up behind Misty May and frighten her for all the times she has terrorized me and sent me running and screaming.
4. When I was young, I was very shy because my mom was a bully, and I had low self esteem.
Friendly Fill-Ins is a blog hop hosted by Ellen (15 And Meowing) and Lorianne (Four-Legged Furballs). Each Thursday they provide the four sentences with blanks for your responses. To participate, click on the Fill-Ins badge.
#1 Astrid, you must be an introvert.
#4 Aww, that’s sad. We hope you have been able to work through those childhood issues.
You picked a prime spot to hang out, Astrid.
Astrid, that is a great photo of you. I hope your weekend is wonderful.
You look darn cute in there sweet Astrid. Those were interesting answers too.
I’m glad you got some catio time, Astrid. Nice to see you today. ~Ernie
That is a sweet photo of you, Astrid.
Love the picture of beautiful Astrid! I laughed at #3. But I’m sorry to hear of your unhappy childhood. Mine was similar though the bullies were other children. I still struggle with self-esteem issues.
Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers except I am sorry your mom was a bully. Astrid, I like your idea of revenge. 🙂 Have a nice weekend. XO
Astrid is most beautiful. Spring will show up soon little one.
Love your fill-ins and especially #3. If only.
Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. Scritches all around, a smooch to Cooper Murphy and Sawyer and a big hug to mom. ♥
#4: That’s what happened to me, and I’m a human!
Our temps are up and down, and the gardening will have to wait for awhile yet, although we are growing a very nice crop of moss.
Your catio is such a great spot to chill out. Mom needs to work on our yard a bit and get our veggie seeds planted.

Great selfie photo Astrid! No heavy gardening/yard work for us any longer – just can’t do that to our bodies any longer. LOL Back backs, bad knees – we garden in pots or on deck railings. Spring is springing though and Mom has said no matter how old she gets she wants to use the lawn tractor for mowing!
Hugs, Teddy (with Mom)
So sorry about the bully part. Mama says you have to SLAP a bully on the nose to make them realize they are not going to intimidate you ever again! Hard for a child to do that….some parents should be drowned at birth, haha.
Astrid looks comfy there in her ‘nest’.
I’ll be doing a lot of yard clean up and planting things in my raised planters as we don’t have many flowerbeds…though the few we have are small, and need just some sprucing up.
I am sorry you had an unhappy childhood, Miss Janet.
Astrid, that would be fun, let your Mom know ahead of time so she can get a video of Misty May being spooked!
