Friendly Fill-Ins: Week #106
With the help of Cooper Murphy and Astrid, I have completed the Friendly Fill-Ins. This is a blog hop currently being hosted by 15 And Meowing And Four-Legged Furballs (while Annie at McGuffy’s Reader is taking a blogging break.
They have a new badge to represent the current collab-oration. If you click on it, you will be transported to Four-Legged Furballs, where you can enter the link to your fill-ins post.
1. Cooper Murphy: It is nice to have a catio where we can spend our days watching birds and squirrels and napping.

2.
Astrid: The best part of last week was
finally venturing into the new cat bed from Dharma Dog/Karma Cat® that Mom won from the Cat Style Lounge at the BlogPaws Conference. It only took a month, but both Mau and I finally tried it out. I don’t know what we were waiting for.
3. Every summer, I complain about the heat. With the hot weather we’ve been having already this spring, I suspect I will bitch about it again this year.
4. Once upon a time, I lived in California. In fact both Dad Tom and I were born and grew up there. This is the house I lived in from age six trough age 18. (My dad built that light post back in the mid 50s.)
I am also entering the Feline Friday blog hop at Comedy Plus.

Those are great answers and it was neat to see the house you grew up in…way different from the home you have now:) I be any good memories were made in that house.
I too hate hot weather with a passion…and we are in an early heat wave. 95 and sticky…UGH.
That is a wonderful catio you kitties have…I, Pipo am envious!! MOL!
Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. That is a cool cat bed, I am glad you are enjoying it now Astrid. Your Mom’s childhood home is beautiful. Mine was sold in 2003 and lost to fire in 2015. They still haven’t taken it down and it makes me sad every time I drive by. I hope you have a wonderful weekend! XO
Mom’s dad sold the house in 1968. We are certain it has changed paws many times in the last 50 years. It was yellow and brown when she lived there. She took this photo when she was in California last September. Two blocks from the house is the huge eBay campus. We are very sorry about your childhood home being lost to fire. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
Looks like the planter bed is every bit as popular as the shark bed we won!
I love the catio! I want to catify so badly and I then let it slip my mind when I can actually do something about it.
Love the fill-ins!
and that bed Rocks! i am a little envious of your catio though.

I can only imagine how fun a catio would be!
We can’t believe it took you guys that long to try out your new bed. When we got ours, we were in it as soon as it hit the floor. 🙂
That is one great looking catio. Hope all of you have a wonderful weekend.
Great fill-ins ! Nice catio ! Purrs
I agree about the catio. ~grin~ Be well!
Wow! Great fill-ins and great photos! Our Mom loves the thought of that kind of bed, but knows someone would barf on it almost immediately. Stay cool!
I love your catio. Very nice. I know how you like to watch the critters when you’re not napping.
Love your fill-ins. Great way to learn more about each other.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. My best to your peeps. ♥
Thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! We always look forward to reading your answers. Cooper Murphy, your catio looks like the purrfect place to be on a gorgeous day. We also love that stunning pose you struck for your photo. And your new bed looks so cozy, Astrid!
I have to admit to being the same as you with #3. I complain about the cold in the winter, and then as soon as it gets hot, I complain about that, too. I do like mildly warm days, though, when it’s actually enjoyable to be outdoors. I bet that photo of your childhood home brings on some nostalgia for you. My parents still live in my childhood home. I actually moved into a house just a few doors down from it, so I visit it literally all the time.
Wishing you all a beautiful day!
OOOHHHH! I was gushing over the felt cat beds the other day, but the price tag almost made me faint! Maybe I should ask for one (or 2 or 3) for my Christmas present this year?
Cooper – that “double dangle” out in the catio is great – you look very comfy and so do you Astrid! That’s a GREAT catio you have for outdoor relaxing in safety. We think your fill-ins were grand. We are going to be late posting our fill-ins. We had to finish up the recipe contest this morning – busy busy. Have a wonderful Friday and weekend!
Love, Teddy
That house looks pretty similar to the house my human grew up in, in the San Fernando Valley! To be honest, she hated that house, MOL! She was glad to move out.
Standard three-bedroom ranch from the 50s. It’s in Campbell (Silicon Valley), CA, just down the street from eBay. The area was mostly orchards when Mom was growing up.
Your catio looks wonderful. We are so jealous. Mummy promised to build Us a catio when We moved to Our New Apartment more than three and a half years ago but We are still waiting!
Your catio looks pawsome!
