Friendly Fill-Ins: Week #222
Once again, I am joining the Friendly Fill-Ins blog hop hosted by Ellen (15 And Meowing) and Lorianne (Four-Legged Furballs. If you’d like to participate and let your followers know a bit more about yourself, you can find the sentences to be filled in on both blogs on Thursdays. To join the hop, click on the badge at the left, which will take you to Four-Legged Furballs.
I completed all the sentences myself this week. I used teal italics for my fill-ins.
1. I feel like the coronavirus is never going to go away.
2. I wish I could exchange a few years of my life for having Mau back with us.
3. It’s time for me to recommit myself to visiting and commenting on our friends’ blogs.
4. Pulling the covers over my head and retreating from the world is really tempting these days.
Feline/Friendship/Flashback Friday
Amazingly, I have no new photos of any of the Kitties Blue to share with you. So, I found a photo I’d never shared from almost this day five years ago (8/24/2015). It’s not a purrfect photo, as I cut the tips of Mau’s ears off, but it is purrfect as it shows Astrid and the big brother she adored.
Our precious angel and Astrid are joining Comedy Plus’ Feline Friday and Create With Joys’ Friendship Friday blog hops. If you’d like to participate, click on the badges below.
Yes, this pandemic should pack up and leave forever….sheesh, its messed up so much.
A sweet flashback!
We’re so ready for the virus to be over! It’s delayed our brother coming home by 4 WEEKS! 🙁
What a beautiful flashback!
I certainly understand the feelings you are having. Even after over a year from losing Wally I have those same feelings. But I hope all the good memories you have of Mau helps you through this. ~Island Cat Mom
Mom says she agrees with all of those answers.
The Florida Furkids with smoochies and love to Angel Mau from Allie and paw pats and headbonks to Sawyer from Noelle
Darling duo…..sweet kitties. Great answers and I totally feel the same way. From the virus and it’s effects to missing my Mom ….. take care and stay well!
That virus is never going away but hopefully we will have a vax soon and then things will be back to normal, kinda. Dad says he is getting back to commenting after a down time. He feels it may have been a late effect of losing big Buddy as that has caused so many problems with the rest of us. Buddy was the alpha even if he was old and could not climb anymore. We remembered and it kept us in our order. It seems we are just getting back to who is who in the house. Such is life but the moments are so sweet
We wish that virus would leave and disappear forever. That’s a super sweet flashback.
That is a sweet photo. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I wish we could do exchange some of our years for our kitties. No worries about commenting on blogs, everyone understands that you are grieving. XO
That is a lovely flashback photo. I agree with all your fill ins.
Actually, after being home, now that I’m ‘used to’ it, is better than I’d first thought.
And…I haven’t yet smacked The Hubby with a frying pan…yet…
That’s a great photo of Angel Mau and Astrid together. While we can’t get our wish to have our Angels back (believe me I’d do the same with Sammy) we can share photos of them and keep them alive in other ways. My way was keeping Angel Sammy a little bit active on our blog. Angels can blog you know!! 😉 Happy Friday!
Love, Pam
It does seem like covid is never gonna go away. 🙁
