Feline/Friendship Friday
Calista Jo thinks a nap in a sunpuddle with a pillow featuring Mau is better than treats. That is a totally accurate statement. She is not obsessed with treats like her little brother.
C.J. will be joining the Feline Friday and Friendship friday blog hops as soon as she wakes up. You can do the same by clicking on the appropriate badge(s).
Friendly Fill-Ins: Week #288
So, I did all the fill-ins this week without any help from my furry friends and am even posting them on the correct day (though a bit later than usual). Friendly Fill-Ins is a blog hop hosted by Ellen (15 And Meowing) and Lorianne (Four-Legged Furballs).
I have used teal italics for my fill-ins. Explanatory information is in parentheses.
1. My favorite holiday film is Love Actually.
2. My favorite Christmas song is “What Child is This?” (The song was written by Chatterton Dix in 1865 and subsequently set to the tune of “Greensleeves.” It has been my favorite since I was a young girl.)
3. If you ask me, ’tis the season for spending time with friends and loved ones.
4. The first time I was old enough to bake my grandpa’s birthday cake for his Christmas Eve birthday, is a holiday memory I’ll never forget. (I was 12 years old, and the cake had three layers, green, red and white. I do have a photo of myself and my grandpa with that cake, but to find it and scan it would take forever. If you would like to see me with my grandpa from when I was about three, go to the post, “Special Post for Mom.”)
Have a great Friday. We’ll be back tomorrow (on time) with some Caturday art.
What a sweet photo of Calista Jo.
P.S. My human has been reading all these sentimental answers to favorite Christmas films. Hers is Bad Santa… ironically, for sentimental reasons.
That is a sweet photo.
CJ and Mau! How sweet!
You had a loving Grandpa! That was a precious memory.
My Grandparents lived on the other side of the big pond…so while we loved them dearly we only saw them a few times.
Aww, we love that sweet photo of Calista Jo and Angel Mau’s pillow.
Your answers are purrfect, especially number 3. 🙂
Those were good answers and that photo is so very precious.
Great fill ins CJ. You are o cute so close to Mau’s cushion.
Aw, that’s a sweet pic. Did you know the mom has never seen Love Actually? Maybe this year. ~Ernie
What a terrific photo of you Calista Jo! And your Mom’s fill-in ROCK! We love your Mom’s #4! We look forward to seeing your art tomorrow and pawticipating on Selfie Sunday! We hope you have a marvellously happy weekend!
Very sweet photo. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I like your movie and song choices too. And that is a wonderful memory. Maybe someday you will have a chance to scan the photo for us as I’d love to see it. XO
Napping in a sunpuddle is the best of all naps. Adorable.
Love all your fill-ins. I enjoy everyone’s take on them.
Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. Scritches to all the kitties and a hug to mom. ♥
happee snoozin calista….dreem oh perch ~~~~ ♥♥ 🙂
My paternal grandparents were the best part of my life. I spent huge amounts of time with them, and they were the ones who always showed me unconditional love. I am so thankful for them! 💖
What a sweet photo. We’re glad Calista Jo can snuggle up to the Angel Mau pillow.
Great Fill-ins. We’ll bet your Grandpa loved that cake.

Calista Jo looks so cute and comfy all “mashed” up into the Mau pillow…..DO NOT DISTURB I should think would be the title of that photo. My Mom says she’s not familiar with Love Actually but probably ought to check it out! Mom and I love the photo of you with your Grandpa….My Mom didn’t really know her grandparents. Her Dad was raised by HIS grandparents and Mom’s family only visited her Mom’s parents a couple of times and they weren’t snuggly/cuddly people sadly!
Hugs, Teddy
