To create today’s entry in Athena and Marie’s Caturday Art Blog Hop I made a double exposure using a photo of Mauricio and one of morning glories in my garden. I’ve been wanting to try this technique for a while and was able to do so using Pixlr Express.
I started with the photos below.
I added the HDRish effect from Picasa on Mauricio’s photo prior to creating the double exposure. After creating the double exposure, I added the pink, neon light swirls and the torn paper edge. The final pink and black borders were added using Picasa.

Sunday Selfies Reminder
Tomorrow will be week #56 of our Sunday Selfies Blog Hop. We know this is a holiday weekend, and you and your humans probably have lots of end-of-summer plans. We hope, however, that you can find a few minutes to snap a selfie or two to share with us. Kitties Blue are still trying to decide among themselves if one of them will be your host or if they’ll hand off the honor to a guest. You’ll just have to drop by to find out. Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow.
Very cool! Allie is swooning over her handsome ManCat!!! It takes a very secure ManCat to be so comfortable among the flowers!!
