ALL DAY & ALL NIGHT NAPPING

Feline & Friendship Fridays

Day & Night napping: Dilute Tortoise shell cat sleeping with head propped up on pillow.

Cats can nap up to 18 hours out of every 24. Elderly cats can sleep up to 20 hours each day. Calista Jo naps more than any cat we have ever had. At night she sleeps “glued” to my side. If she could crawl inside my skin, she would. This was one her usual day-long naps.

C.J.’s joining the Feline Friday and Friendship Friday blog hops at Comedy Plus and Create With Joy, respectively.

Friendly Fill-Ins: Week #305

Each Friday we participate in the Friendly Fill-Ins blog hop hosted by Ellen (15 And Meowing) and Lorianne (Four-Legged Furballs). They provide the four sentences on their blogs each Thursday with blanks for participants’ responses.

I am fortunate to have had Sawyer and Stinky help me with the fill-ins this week. We all used teal italics for our completions.

1. Stinky: Time flies when Periwinkle and I are on an adventure.

2. For me to fall asleep at night takes forever.

3. Having pneumonia when I was four and the doctor coming to our house everyday to give me a shot of penicillin in the butt and getting in trouble during that time for getting out of bed to retrieve a coloring book and crayons out of my closet is my earliest memory.

4. Sawyer: Is it weird that I like treats better than stinky goodness with meds in it?

Thanks for joining us. We’ll be back tomorrow with some Caturday Art.
