BEAUTIFUL GIULIETTA REMEMBRANCE

Thankful Thursday

beautiful remembrance

I am delighted and thankful for this beautiful remembrance of Giulietta sent to us by Pam and Teddy (Two Spoiled Cats). It looks purrfect with Fiona’s portrait and urn. I am grateful to have such a thoughtful friend in Pam. And I am especially thankful to see our two girls together again. (If you missed the post about Giulietta getting her angel wings, “Thankful for 11 Years,” you can find it here.

Dad Tom and I have a huge thankful. We have found a cat caregiver who will stay at the house 24/7, so we can spend Thanksgiving with Tom’s nephew and his family. For several years we have tried to make certain that at least one of us is home with Sawyer at all times. Though we have gone to a couple of events (before COVID), we’ve done nothing that would take us away for more than a few hours. As much as I wanted to see family, I was too nervous until we found Kit.

I am joining the Thankful Thursday blog hop hosted by Brian. You can do the same by posting on your blog for what you are thanks then clicking on the badge.

Thoroughly Poetic Thursday

What an adorable inspiration photo Teddy and Angel Sammy provided for this week’s poetry challenge.

It is difficult to write a meaningful poem when the photo “says” it all. After a couple of failed attempts, I decided a haiku would be the better option.

Best friends: boy and dog
Adorable in matching shirts
Can I get a hug?

If you’d like to try writing some poetry, check out Two Spoiled Cats today to get a copy of next week’s inspiration photo. And please read Angel Sammy’s poem. He transmits it each week from the Rainbow Bridge, and it is always a work of art! Click on the poetry bridge to go there now.
