Friendly Fill-Ins: Week 73
As we do each Friday, Kitties Blue and I are participating in Ellen (15 And Meowing) and Annie’s (McGuffy’s Reader) Friday Friendly Fill-Ins and blog hop.
- I am far too critical of myself.
- To save money, I stay out of places like Wal-Mart, as I will always buy things I hadn’t planned to and don’t need. I also stay at home most of the time, so I only have to put gas in my car a couple times a year.
- All lives matter.
- Kitties Blue try to make
(s)me think they are deprived and mistreated when, in fact, they are totally spoiled. As proof of being spoiled, here’s Mauricio playing with the “red dot.” And who is controlling it and playing with him? Me, his mom, through the PetCube, while 2,700 miles away from home. (If you look in the background of the photo, you will see catnip spread on the kitchen counter.)
That’s it for today, as I am indeed 2,700 miles away from home. This is the weekend of the 50th high school reunion I have been working on as part of the Reunion Committee for more than a year. If you are wondering why the kitties haven’t been visiting much, it’s because I have the computer with me.
If you’d like the opportunity to find out a bit more about your fellow bloggers, click on the badge below. You’ll be magically whisked away to Annie’s blog, where you can find the links to other blogs.
We’ll be back tomorrow for Caturday Art. Sunday we will be remembering and honoring Phoebe (15 And Meowing) on our Sunday Selfies post. Monday we will be having a guest post with a terrific and informative infographic.
Until then…toodles from Carmel, California.
Fun answers and I love that you play with your kitties even while away. A “spoiled” cat is a well loved cat.
We try to stay out of Walmart whenever we can. When we can’t, we always shop with a list and “try” to stick to that list. Have a blessed week.
Those sticky interwebs allow us to stick around in all kinds of places, so great that we do not fall off of that web when we are not home…or maybe on the other paw, we are so entangled in its stickiness!!
Glad you could go to that reunion!!
What fun to be able to play with the cats from that far away. The mom talks to us through the petcube when she’s not home. Actually it kind of scares us when we hear her voice. Have fun at your reunion!
Mom said Target also gets in trouble, much like Walmart.
I bet you will have a really good time at your fiftieth – we had ours in 2013 and found we all had much more in common NOW than we ever had as teenagers !
We sure enjoyed your answers and we hope you have a blast at your reunion!
I know what you mean with #1. It is so true that we are our own worst critics. I also know what you mean with #4! The kitties and pup here sure know how to work the system so that they get more and more spoiled by the day. Have fun at your reunion!
Great fill-ins guys, and we’re all spoiled too, as all cats should! MOL
Bestest purrs
Basil & Co xo
Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. That is cool that you can play laser with the kitties while away from home. I love your answer to #3. I hope you have an amazing time at your reunion. XO
LOL! My two kitty boys are the victims of a over-spoiled kittenhood. I used to think they were bad kitties when they had toilet accidents or scratched on furniture, then I started watching “My Cat from Hell”…. Yes, I am the problem, not Andy and Dougy! Jackson Galaxy has me pegged. I won’t contact him to “fix” my kitties. I’ve live with the fact I am responsible for what they turned out to be, and either learn how to fix their behavior or stop complaining.
Excellent answers! I know that I am also my own worst critic. I find myself apologizing often, even when I don’t think I really need to. I just know I am very human and make a lot of unintentional mistakes. You are a blessing to the Kitties Blue and all who know you. Have fun! HUGS!!
There is no such thing as a spoiled cat. They simply get what they deserve, which is love, snuggles, food and play…oh, and catnip too!
At least, that’s what Angel and Chuck tell me…
I stay home a lot too, so I only put gas in the car maybe 3 times a year. Some weeks, I literally only drive it to the store on Sunday. It’s neat that you can play with the cats while you’re away! Enjoy your reunion 🙂
Good answers! Walmart – ugh. I never shopped there in Florida. Wouldn’t you know that in this little town we moved to, that’s basically the only shopping? Unless, of course, you wish to drive a couple of hours to “real” shopping. Sigh. But that’s okay. It’s a trade-off I’m willing to take! Wow, how do you get the red dot and the catnip to the Kitties Blue when you’re not home? LOL! 😉
Hello!! We’re glad you got your filling in done before heading for sunny California! Looks like Mau is having some fun playing with you even though you’re not there. WAY COOL. Hope you have a super time seeing old friends and making new ones at your reunion. See you for Selfies on Sunday!
Love, Teddy
