Caturday Art
Cooper Murphy has recently discovered the three-way tunnel. When I first saw him in it, his backend was sticking out. With him being a bit broad in the body, I came to the conclusion that he couldn’t fit inside. But I was wrong. The photo I chose for today’s art creation is of Cooper Murphy totally inside the tunnel looking out. The original photo is terribly out of focus so I am not going to share it. Here’s the art version.
I created this by applying the Tropic of Capricorn filter from Dreamscope. I then overlaid one of the cloud textures from PicMonkey. The leaf motif in the corners was added using piZap. The plain borders were added in Picasa. A bit of piling on, but I think it worked.
This is Cooper Murphy’s and my entry in Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty’s Caturday Art blog hop. To enter some art of your own and/or view the other submissions, click on Athena’s badge.
Easter Sunday Selfies
We’ll be back tomorrow with one of the Kitties Blue gussied up for Easter Sunday. I have no idea who that might be. I suspect some bribery involving treats will be employed. I am quite certain many of you will be involved with family and religious services. If you cannot get here tomorrow to add your selfie to the blog hop, don’t fret. The hop remains open every week through Thursday.
A Note from Siddhartha and the Purrfect Pad
Our friend Purrince Siddhartha Henry’s mum, Sherri-Ellen, called today to ask me to pass on the message that her computer is “toast.” Consequently, she is unable to post, comment on your posts or answer e-mails. She’s doubtful that the computer can be repaired, and it may be a while before she can get another one. If anyone wants or needs to talk with her, let me know in the comments or by sending me an e-mail. I will contact you with her phone number.
Cool Cooer Murphy art.
Cooper Murphy you are looking extra special today!!!!!!
I love the posterized jungle effect you have created for Cooper Murphy. Really cool! Happy Easter and happy Sunday Selfies for tomorrow! xx
Cooper Murphy, what a lovely work of art you are!
We love this picture…and all the colors. We only have a two way tunnel. We feel deprived.
How cool ! Wonderful effects ! Purrs
That came out great, very cool. Poor Sherri-Ellen, I was hoping her computer could be repaired. XO
Well, that was like a flashback! You are creative over there. I wish I was. HUGS!
You sure look tunnel terrific Cooper Murphy! We sure had that the Purrince PC got toasted.
Good job, Cooper Murphy! Love those colors! 😀
COOPER! Way to go, Pal! And you can come over here with me for a visit too. Mine is a one way tunnel but we can set coordinates and you’ll get her safely.
That is one gorgeous bit of artwork with Cooper Murphy in the 3-way tunnel! It’s like he’s in the jungle hiding in a hollow tree…..like a stalking TIGER! Love it. As for the news about Miss Sherri-Ellen’s computer – we are so sad to hear it. We are all LOST without our “communication devices” and we’ll miss hearing about Siddhartha’s adventures – hopefully she will get a new computer SOON. Thanks for telling us.
Love, Angel Sammy and Teddy too
Mum wished she could do your art work – it made her sad when she couldn’t do it to look at all like yours.
Stunning art!
Sorry to hear about Purrince Siddhartha Henry’s mum’s computer.
Purrs xx

You sure turned that 3-way tunnel into a masterpiece, Cooper Murphy. And we love it! We’ll see you tomorrow with our Easter selfies!
We love the picture of Cooper Murphy (We wish We had a three-way Tunnel).
Mummy says the art style is definitely early twentieth century Ex-purr-essionist with a touch of Gauguin thrown in for good measure (mol).
